Title: Resource to hand out
Post by: Stacie F on January 27, 2014, 03:55:16 PM

My partner and I are looking for a good, light reading, resource that we can provide to family and close friends when I choose to come completely out.  As it stands, my partner, therapist, and support group are the only ones who I am out to currently.  I thought that I could provide a cover letter and a copy of the more in depth resource for those who wish to further there knowledge on the subject.  This may also be helpful for when I come out at work as well.

Thanks

Hi Stacie,
both the home page and the link to wiki have some good links and insites to help with coming out,
for me I had to personlize it to each specific group IE: daughter, Grand kids, wife, and several layers for the different levels of co workers, all basically the same but each group had specifics that are more specific to them so i tried to cover it that way. by no means saying this is the right way but is working for so far for me at least. full disclosure at work next week, only hr and corp staff are aware so far.
check out those two places they give you some good information
best wishes and hope it will help

Hello Stacie,

Here are two options with varying levels of detail. Hope they are helpful.
