Title: Slightly awkward question about body hair.
Post by: LittleEmily24 on January 28, 2014, 10:09:23 PM
Ok, i can't seem to find an answer to this so i'm just gonna ask it on here. Its several questions actually, and i know i made a thread about body hair but i forgot to include this:

1. What will HRT do to my more "intimate" posterior hair >_<? (buttocks i guess is the word)

2. what is the best way to get rid of that hair? Some people have told me to just use a trimmer or shaver but in past experiences, trimmers have actually cut me >_< and with a razor i'd be going in blind because I cant really see that area properly -___-

3. I read a very horrifying story about waxing/smooth shaving that area and how it was the most uncomfortable situation ever and that it hurts like nothing else when it grows back and I'm wondering how much of this is true... will HRT make inner bum hair disappear or stop growing??? because honestly its driving me insane and i'm embarrassed just making this thread >_<...

I hate to be the person to ask this awkward and moderately discomforting question, but i can't find an answer for this... and I'm sure im not the only one who has dealt with this issue... help me out girls  :icon_cry2: :icon_cry2: :icon_cry2: :icon_cry2:

Hi Emily, I've heard many girls comment that this is one area that hair can disappear from over time.

I'm one such girl, or at least in progress. The hair I have there now is perhaps 1/4 of what it was. I've no doubt that it will disappear all together, as per chest and tummy hair.

And how's the coconut oil going? :P At least I hope you've started using that for legs / thighs.

I actually havent had the chance to go buy some because im kind of broke right now >_<, but to avoid any issues i've been shaving with the grain instead of against it and i've been using a fresh razor and hotter water, I actually havent shaved in like 3 days and even though the hair has grown back, the irritation is gone. I went to a sex shop the other day to see if they had Coochie Shaving Cream brand, but i was out of luck, so im gonna have to amazon it :P

Hi LittleEmily,

Generally speaking HT retards body hair growth. Instead of it being the typical dark course hair it becomes a lighter more wispy type.
2. Sadly, if it still annoys you after 12-18 months HT, waxing is a method. Wait and see and reevaluate.
3. The 'inner bum' hair I assume the scrotal hair? If so, sorry. HT will do little.

Relief could be sort through seeing an Endocronoligist. Finaside may be an option.

A Seiko Cleancut shaver is perfect for that area.  A cleancut PS335 should be used first.  A great combination.

Never had much of an issue there, but an ex I dared to remove all his body hair via a waxing said that and his balls hurt the most.

For what its worth I found a great epilator at walgreens. its a Remington concaved head for 40 dollars. it works twice as well at the braun silk epi at twice the price. its actualy cheaper than a year worth of razor bladed

yeah... to be honest its one of the things that causes a lot of serious anxiety and depression in me... especially when i cruise through certain websites and see cisgender feminine men who either are completely smooth back there or don't grow hair there... it makes me want to shoot myself with the gun i don't have the money or permit to buy anyway -_- (just kidding, i wouldn't kill myself, but it does bother me severely)

So i use euphemisms to ease the pain. To put it simply: This causes so much anxiety in me that if I could choose SRS for free, or never have hair in this area ever again... I would go with the former >_<

I wax, sugaring paste, really. You don't have to heat it up as much, it's water soluable so it cleans up easy and if you use a little baby powder (NB: little) beforehand, it doesn't hurt a lot. Yes, I use it everywhere. Well... I still use a razor on my face, but the AA reduces the frequency of that behavoiur ;)

No, it doesn't hurt.  It's a two step process.  The Seiko Cleancut is a mesh shaver and only handles very short hair or "stubble".   You need to start with the PS335 trimmer.
