Ok, so I'm not going to post about every outing but this one feels significant. Peak hour train on my way to a Sydney gals meetup at a night club. Got changed at work and so far so good!
HFS!
Weeeeeeeeeee!
Fantastic! 5 locks? Have a great night.
Have fun sis :)
Yes, a great night! Met the lovely Catherine from Sarah's and a number of other great gals. The challenge this time was catching a peak hour train (last time it was the middle of the day so not very crowded...) but yeah, I was fine. Felt very comfortable. Then I decided to catch a taxi from the train station to the club which meant... OMG... talking to someone. I did fine(ish) but somehow also managed to bump my chin on the door getting into the cab (seriously never done that before). Anyway it was fun, I did feel self conscious interacting with the cis staff at the club but they were all fine. It was great to be chatting over dinner with the others. That was about three and a half hours in public. Just as I was feeling comfortable with my voice it was sadly time to go. oh well... next time! ;D
Have to say I did see a guy look at me when I was going to catch the cab, looked me right in the eyes as he walked past - but the look in his eyes wasn't "OMG guy in a dress" it was more like "I wouldn't mind a piece of her"! eeek!
Congrats grace I am happy for you that your night went well :-)
Sounds like you had fun :D
Sounds great. Sooo ... I had short excursions and several get togethers before full time. But couldn't hold back after the total liberation set in.
Nothing but smiles for you. :) :D ;D ;)
Totally awesome sister!!!!
And didn't she look and be the part. Sooooo natural was our Ms Grace. She was full of it. Grace that is. Yes; just let me untie my tongue for a minute. Ms Grace was full of grace. (OMG Catherine.)
Only one disappointment, Grace looks better in real life than her avatar.
Now this is one for all of you who think you are being "clocked" when you're out and about. This is the truth of what really goes on. Quote from: Ms Grace on January 30, 2014, 05:12:12 AM

Congratulation Grace, on your second night out. You handled it so naturally with great aplomb. Looking forward to you next outing

Ha! You never realise the many puns a name is open to until you start to live it. Don't know if you ever watched The Young Ones back in the 1980s, there was one silly sketch where a character complains about her name being "Helen" because it makes people think she's been to "hell 'n' back" - never been able to meet a Helen since then without that joke on my mind.
