So I just recently got a job and I got my first paycheck yesterday (Thursday Jan 30) and after buying a Slenderwoman Morphsuit (it's Slenderman, but I will put mah boobs in there when i get em) and some games, I have like a hundred dollars. Tomorrow, my friend comes over to size me for a bra so I know what to get. Tuesday, we're going shopping for a full outfit (probably gonna have to go to Walmart, but eh w.e). Shirt, jeans (or maybe leggings), bra, panties and socks. I'm so glad I've got a friend like her to help out.
Anyways, instead of this being all about me, ladies, what was your first girlmode outfit?
A simple black dress, heels and everything under it! ;)
pink and blue poka dot dress and black heels
Nice...
Mine was a long brown jacket and black shirt jeans and boots
:D

I'd go for heels, but I'm already 6'7", so I'm pretty sure I'd be looking straight down at everyone's heads. So I'm gonna go with some cute flats or something

What sort of jacket? Like an overcoat? I'm thinking on a long black overcoat for my next shopping spree sort of thing. Even though it's gonna be in June. Must. Get. Tanks.

gurl I just melted in jealousy. You have no idea how much I want that to cosplay as the Tenth Doctor. Must. Have.
I don't remember precisely. I'm going to say it was all black? I mostly just borrowed stuff from my wife (yes, she knew all about it and was totally cool) for a few weeks until I got a starter wardrobe for Xmas 2012.
Yeah, I don't have anyone I wanna borrow clothes from. My friend would probably gimme some of her spare clothes if I asked, but she's also a bit smaller than me, and I don't wanna be just taking everything she's got. So I gotta buy my own wardrobe. Will post results if possible on Tuesday. Will find out measurements for bra tomorrow :3, cant wait.
I think mine was this beige tunic I had, jeans, and some cute sandals I found at Target. And yeah, tanks are a must!!
Also- Slenderman has to be the most terrifying character I've ever seen/read about. Some girls I know from made a pretty great short horror movie about him, really freaked a lot of its out when they had their premier!

Yeah, my brother and I have been working on our film for a couple of years. I used to wear an actual suit and put a t-shirt on my head for the facelessness. Needless to say, it was horrible. So, now that I've got my income and my legit outfit, we'll do the film this summer at my brother's camp. Gonna premiere it to a few friends and hopefully it'll take off from there.
I don't know if I have had a full outfit, I guess the purple/white/black dress my friend picked out for me to buy, my leather jacket with inbuilt grey hood and my calf high boots.
Hey, Walmart is a great place for Clearance if you can get the right sizes. They've had bras on Clearance for several months, and some are $20 bras for $5. Too bad I wear a style they never have on sale. But whatever you do get stuff you can mix up. I have tops that go with almost anything, and skirts for the summer that I use for lounging in the winter. Oh yeah, Leggings are great. In below 0 temps they don't do much good, but I wear them along with thermals so I can strip off the jeans, thermals, and control panties when I get home. That leaves the leggings and I add a skirt for relaxing.
God it was nice to be in California for two months. I got to wear my skirts, sandals, knee highs, and tanks with half buttoned (or unbuttoned) light tops. Can't wait for the UP spring temps so I can once again wear the clothes I like.
I do not remember as I have gradually changed my appearance since 2003. Some of my old photos indicate that it was November 30, 2004.
I went to the National Mall of Washington DC, despite my short hair. At that time, the security was very tight in DC, and some police men in the street scrutinized me. I was nervious, but one of them smiled at me, relieving me a little bit.
I asked some passersby to take photos for me, and they were very kind.

At that time, I was just a novice in wearing makeup and the pants were from a Salvation Army thrift store.

Mine was meant to be decent looking but turned into horrid. Black skinny jeans with a dark blue V neck sleeveless top and dark tan 3" booties. However I overlooked the weather being 10F and had to barrow a black coat from a friend on our outing. So I pretty much had all black on :icon_cry2:
*EDIT*

Indeed. I still keep juniors' miniskirts, caprises and sleeveless tees I purchased 10 years ago at $1 from Wal-mart. They are endurable, pretty and very affordable.

D: you looked so pretty there. I'm jealous. And the pants don't look that bad considering they're thrift.
unfortunately I think I'm gonna have to delay my first outfit :( my money's not coming quick enough and I gotta save up for my laptop and camera and stuff. And my Xbox decided to screw up on me, so I gotta replace that. I gotta get an HD TV too. All the future expenses just keep coming. Bonus tho. In 2 weeks, I get a sweet Ravenclaw jacket and it's gonna be awesome :3
So as far as I can tell, it'll be July before I get any actual spending money that I don't have any real plans for. I think then I'll go on a shopping spree with a couple of my friends (one who knows i'm trans, one who doesnt, but I really hope she's chill with it) and get some outfits. And the next month, I can talk to my doctor about HRT :3 looking like a good summer.
Sadface. Ravenclaw jacket is like $100+ and I can't go that high. So now, I have $50 spare and no idea what to do with it. I'm thinking buying clothes online but I'll need to put the address as my friend's place so my dad doesn't see it.

Currently my debt from banks here totals ca. US$ 200,000, and they are still willing to offer more.
You may get a loan for your personal purposes.

Thanks! As I looked like a kind of exotic foreigner there at that time, it was easier to pass.
After trying a few times, I didn't go to a thrift store any more. Here in my country, I can purchase new items at the same same level of price paid in the thrift stores.
The problem I face now is that my monthly expenditure for apparel and beauty is increasing and increasing....

My LBD, 3" Heels, hose, and a black suede jacket with the fringes, and my hair straight down. It was 10 degrees out in DC and I was going out. Was a little thinner then at 110 lbs so I looked kind of hot!. I got hit on all night, lol!
