Hi sisters,
Does anybody hear about Dr. C. Michael Haben in Rochester NY? He does a similar surgery as Dr Kim in Korea but using lasers.
I heard a voice sample and it is as good as Jennygirl. I really love Dr Kim results and Jenny is the best result I have seen so far. But I'm considering to try Dr Haben because is just so close and a little less expensive beside the excellent job he does (from what I heard).
They offer 2 nights at the Marriot hotel, labs, test, etc and you have to stay only 3 days then come back home.. The cost of the package $ 7,000
I'd like to hear your opinion, thanks... I'm not sure yet if going to Korea or going to Rochester NY with Dr. Haben..
Thanks for reading my post. I really appreciate any input.. And OOPS! Sorry for my bad English.. :-*

It's interesting plus there is the question of quality of work as well as the followup process.
From what I can gather (others please correct me if I am wrong), Dr. Kim does so well because of both the exacting precision with which he does this surgery compared to others and because of the extensive recovery process he has each patient follow.
The questions then become whether Dr. Haben can do as precise work as Dr. Kim and whether his recovery instructions will be as comprehensive as Dr. Kim.

Well, that's up to every patient. You can easily choose to follow a stricter protocol on your own. If your doctor is telling you "no singing or yelling for a month", who says that after a month you're supposed to sing and yell? Keep your volume down for another month, as Dr. Kim suggests, and do so with all other recovery instructions, and the resulting differences in voice quality should be down to the respective surgeons' abilities.

Amy
