So, right now I'm at a point in my life where I really do need an STP. I used to have a medicine spoon STP packer but never could get the hang of it. Plus the spoon was uncomfortable to wear for long. So, I'm considering spending the money on a peecock. I don't think a nipple-style STP would work for me, and the peecock's shape looks ideal for an STP.
Any thoughts? Is anybody else on a similar boat in debating STPs?
I debated getting one for a while. I think I finally just moved beyond the need to STP - I like the idea of the 3-in-one use for the Peecock. Unfortunately, for myself personally, it's just too unrealistic-looking and I'm finding that, that's been causing a problem for my dysphoria - hence why I opted to get the Reel Magik.
But I've heard good and bad reviews of the Peecock. Some hate the receptacle and others love it. I guess it's just one of those things you'd really have to try yourself to know.
I heard the pleasure thing doesn't work. I know someone that has one and he said the pleasure rod or whatever slips out all the time during sex. I've thought about the peacock, but the price tag is a little steep for me to try it.
I loved my peecock at the beginning, because unlike other packers, it is very soft and nicely curved to the body. It made me feel it was part of me.
But gradually I just became so tired of it. It does not look realistic enough for me, especially the scrotum. And if I wear it for a whole day, the inside just becomes too stinky and wet. So I guess that is just how much a packer could help me. It relieved my dysphoria for a while, but now I just have to get surgeries.
How well the peecock STP works depends on your own body. It works ok for me, but I have to be very cautious. Some people say theirs could not work at all and some people say theirs work fantastically.
Mine is my STP of choice... the only drawbacks are the lack of realism (tho it could pass in a urinal since no one will directly stare at it), and the erection rod slipping out during play.
The 5.5" packs better than any other packer i've had, mainly because it is a collapsable funnel rather than a solid hunk of material, and is mostly contoured to the body. Peeing with it involves holding the balls towards the body to create a seal, and possibly the other hand to position the shaft.
There's a similar product called the Number One: http://www.etsy.com/au/listing/160364536/model-d-skin-tone-yellow-tan-mature?ref=shop_home_active_1 cheaper but doesn't have the 'play' function.
My big issue with the model d is that there's no real way to pack with it and have access to pee because of the shape.

Yeah, it makes no sense to me.
My main issue with it is that it doesn't work for me, personally. I think to wear as just a plain packer its a bit more comfortable because the funnel provides less silicon to skin contact which I find pretty annoying. As an STP it is next to worthless for me.
I have the old-style one (i know they came out with a deeper funnel? or something) and it always comes out the back as well as the front. Could just be my own personal morphology, but I've only gotten it to work cleanly once. That being said I haven't had much practice because who wants to piss themselves on a regular basis even just at home in order to get it down, and if it takes that much practice who says that one won't be out and about when it... misfires. I don't have time for that. I'm also not so keen on the idea of having a pee-wet silicon tube sitting in my pants getting all sorts of nasty for the rest of the day just because I took a wiz earlier on in the day. I feel like even if it worked I'd end up wanting to rip it from my pants and clean it off before going back to class or work.
As far as the play feature goes I've never yet had opportunity to test it out with another person. The rod goes in, and it certainly seems firm enough to get the job done as it were. I have doubts, however, about its staying power and whether or not the rod wouldn't end up going out through the tip and potentially hurting someone.
At this point, I'm glad I got it so I no longer have to wonder if it'd work for me, but at this point I wish I'd bought a 12 dollar packer and a nice strap on rather than a compromise in between. Woulda cost a lot less overall too.
Yeah there seemed to be a lot more mixed/negative reviews of the original, but the newer one had (from what I've seen) almost exclusively positive reviews.
