Anyone want to share tattoos? I am a big fan of tattoos (I have a dove and an owl tattoo). What tattoos do you have (if any)? If you don't have, are you planning to get some in the future? If not, what's the reason? (only if you want to tell). The main reason I got my dove tattoo (it's a very small one) is because of the meaning (http://www.tattooneed.com/dove-tattoo-meaning-symbolism/): hope, faith and rebirth (rebirth is exactly how I fell at the moment).
Sorry if I open this thread, I know there were old threads with tattoos, but those were kinda old to write in them again. :-X
I have four. I have a heart with a devil's tail on my left shoulder and a skull with cross bones right above it and then I have a butterfly on my right shoulder. Then I have a dagger with NO FEAR going through it on my right thigh.

C'mon Catherine. It's not that bad. You could get a nice discrete rose on your ankle and that would look just right. Speaking hypothetically of course. If you blow up my picture you can see the tattoo on my left shoulder just under my sleeve.Had them done seven years ago, and that was good enough for me. Never planned on cover my body with tattoos.
I have none but like to see well done ones.
I used to want to get a bunch of tattoos, but now I have no desire to get any. I could use that money and time to put towards my transition or video games. Also, tattoos wouldn't look good on my skin anyways and I don't want to go through all of that pain of getting one. If I really want to draw on myself, I will use a marker.

@Gina Taylor the dagger seems the nicest one (I don't mean to say the other ones aren't nice, but the dagger seems to have a good meaning). No fear tattoos are the best, in my opinion, of course.
@Catherine Sarah that's ok, I respect your decision. I have friends with no tattoos and they are ok.
I have 9 tattoos so far and on of them covers my whole left arm above the elbow and up to my shoulder. I think I have a picture of it somewhere I'll have to look.
Most of my tattoos are dragon related and I've done a few of them myself. North Dakota doesn't require a license to do tattooing so I do some work occasionally.
I want to get some tattoos. I want to tat my whole neck and some of my arms, I don't care. :)
Believe it or not, I don't have a single one. You'd think a rocker like me would have quite the collection by now. I know a lot of people who are covered, but I've never gone there.
I still have a nostril piercing that I did myself in January, 1991 (back when 99% of the people who had them were girls) with a tiny diamond stud in it that I wear 24/7.
I have one of my shoulder of fire and water. I want to get it recoloured.
I want more, but don't know what to get, so I'll abstain for now. I really like Daken's tattoos, but if I were to get them, I'd need to change them to either cover what I already have or have them on the other arm. That and they cover a lot and would therefore be hard to hide if needed and would be expensive.
I found my picture of the day I got it finished. The bottom around the tail is smoky so when I continue it down with the foggy smoky thing the tail will be just visible.
To answer the unsaid question, this picture is a few years old and I didn't have much of a chest then so I never really kept up on the whole body hair thing.

I've just got the one.. It's a memorial to my late GF, Alison.. Her initials were AT.. The number in the middle are 72.13 - the year of her birth and the yeatr of her death.

I have plenty of respect for my body. My ink is a memorial to someone who has no other. Any further ink I get will also have reasons.
You don't want to have a tattoo? Fine, don't.. But don't tell others not to have them, which is what you are essentially doing.
I have five tattoos, and am already planning my next two. All of them are custom done, and have quite a bit of meaning to me. I also have one piercing and am planning on a few more.
1) I have a blue and black band on my left arm with the Congi symbol for Truth in the middle of it.
2) I have a tattoo on my right arm that was designed by one artist and two psychologists. It represents the evil that everyone has in them. It was designed to look like whatever you fear the most. Therefore, different people see different things in it.
3) I have a tricecla on the top of my left foot. It represents the life cycle of a woman (daughter, mother, crone).
4) I have a tribal tattoo in the middle of my back that appears to be a bird with it's wing's folded. It represents freedom.
5) On the back of my right shoulder I have my son's name scripted above a custom pair of angel wings. Obviously this represents my son.
I have nothing against tattooing, but I don't have any. I'm too fickle for something so permanent.
I have two tattoos. One for my favorite video game series and one for my oldest cat Hiroki. I'd love more in the future but for now I have to focus on other things financially.

I paid for a 5th tat but declined when I told my wife of the appointment and she asked me not to get it. It would have been a dragon covering 1/8th of my lower torso.

I have wanted a tattoo for a long time. I probably won't get one for a couple of years but I would like something Celtic and serpentine, maybe a knot-work Jormungandr. The first thing I'll be doing is getting my ears pierced XD.
