I've tried a bunch of different pictures and it seems to be. Anyone have any feedback?
It can be accurate sometimes...

It can be accurate sometimes...
Yeah, with a big emphasis on the sometimes.
I have two male mode pictures that were taken seconds apart. In one I smiled with my mouth open and in the other I had my mouth closed.
Mouth closed:
46% Masculine / 54 % Feminine / 26 yrs
Smiling mouth open:
79% Masculine / 21 % Feminine / 30 yrs
So apparently I am older and way more masculine when I smile... Hrm...
Don't even get me started on the inconsistencies the site has with my female mode pics. They bounce around all over the place.
on one of my pics i got 64% masculine but all of my lookalikes were female! wierd! lol! Xx
Let's say, a stopped clock is right twice a day?
Ouch, I took a male mode picture about 3 weeks ago as my official pre everything photo, and it came up 91% male. It said I was 56; I will be 58 in April. Bob Denver, of Gilligan fame was named as a look alike.
Edit: It gets even worse with the picture where I am not smiling (96% male). I always knew that my face was bad, but I probably should think about booking my FFS right now.

thats suspicious....
(lol just kiddin,,, ;D)
lol this is interesting, first try 82% feminine. Age, it guess 6 years younger. Well, It probably trying to just make me happy.
Look at my avatar picture. Pictriev said I was a 28 year old with a 92% female rating. Case closed! ;D
It's all over the map with me. First pic. 62% masculine. Age 27 (I'm 45). Second pic (not as cute as the first) 82% FEMININE and Age 56. :P
Aww. Thanks, Emily. You're very sweet!

Yeah, right! Anyone here buy that? You 20 something's need to start telling the truth!*giggles* ;D
[blushing], You gals need to stop. I think I'll put those statements in my pocket and pull them out for an ego boost when I need one (for example the next time I try pictriev!) You're such lovely women in all ways.
xxxooo
It is not very accurate, but overall it works.
On the first days after starting HRT I was ALWAYS 98-100% male.
Then I started to get 85% male...then 60%...now most of the pics I check there give me a high female ratio. I still get some "out of the curve" results... but before, my "out of the curve" was getting feminine results. Now it is harder to get masculine results. Yesterday I uploaded a pic that gave me 98% female (no make-up or wig) ;D
But, at the same time...if I am smiling I get very feminine results...if I am not, my femininity goes away. Same thing with lightning and slightly changes in the angle of my face.
I find Google Images' "similar photos" search feature to be much more informative.
*shruuuugs* I've never gotten more male than female if that's what you mean but as far as 'accurate'? I have no idea. Their algorithm is only really using facial proportions.
It is not as accurate as going out in the street and seeing how people react to you.

Exactly. I put a couple of pics up for their stupid little "test" and it said it read like 80% male and I was like: "Get the hell out of here." ::)
If I actually looked male as it claimed, things wouldn't be the way they are when I am out and about. I rarely have any problems so screw their moronic site. I just feel bad for someone that may be really unsure about themselves and they may actually put stock in that stupid thing.
I tried also http://www.faceplusplus.com/
It is not bad, but take into consideration that it needs frontal face and... guess what? :)
we have problems mostly in the profile department.
It is not so difficult, with make up, to appear female in front, the problem is to be perceived female
in a fluid 4D environment, when people see you from all angles, the angles, by the way, which we don't see
and are the most male.
The good news... is that... who cares? There are many, many cis-women with male profiles
I tried with my ex-wife pictures... it constantly misgender her !!!!!! also in a photo when she is
pregnant and is very feminine (but of course it does not look at the belly :) ). So... have I married a male?
No :) simply my wife has an andro face but she does not care and nobody in real life misgender her.
or simply the program isnt that accurate :P
I mean I just tried some pics... some considered male , some female...meh
I played around with this site some yesterday and it's definitely not accurate at all! especially when taking into account racial differences in face proportions. I wouldn't take what it has to say very seriously. Don't let some flawed algorithm performing a bad party trick hurt your feelings!
I have also tried the website with many pictures. I consistently got a result around 94-99% feminine and age between 22-26. I am 33 however I was told many times I look like I was in my 20's. When it comes to feminine look all I know is that I pass without an issue in everyday life.
The lighting can change the results, also even the hairstyle.
