Hello Everyone, I am new to susan's i have questions and concerns about my HRT; I started my hormone therapy on January 15th everything has been well, i seen changes such as skin softening after 2 weeks, my mother says my face has changed a bit as well it looks even more feminine than it was before HRT; My breast tenderness begun 4 weeks after but now the pain has diminished is this normal? also i don't know if it's just me but i'm noticing that my skin is producing sebum again, after HRT my skin was dry which was wonderful! because I had VERY oily skin to begin with. my facial skin is looking "Rougher" again, i don't know if that's just me any feedback will be greatly appreciated!
My experience is that things have come in "waves" with breast development, even if the waves seem to be alot higher with my left breast than my right :(
As far as your skin, I hadn't noticed anything like that myself, so I cannot comment too much, my skin has stayed reasonably softer.

The breast pain/tenderness thing will come and go in waves. That's just the way it goes. I also had very oily skin before I started HRT. That changed over the course of time and is no longer oily as it was before. I don't know about the "rough" facial skin thing. I never experienced anything like that. But everyone is different.
Hikari: Uneven breast development is expected and also happens to genetic women during puberty so not to worry everything will be fine ;D in all honesty, my main concern is that my HRT is progressing properly and hasn't Halted. :-\

ah, ok that gives me a bit of ease thank you! and by "Rough" i mean as when you don't exfoliate and your skin looks dull and not glowing makes sense? as far as moisturizing always! i use unrefined coconut oil as my moisturizer but the funny thing is that my skin is still soft just not "Glowy" ???

There was a period when the skin around my eyes suddenly roughened up without any apparent reason - but only there. Applying extra soft daily moisturiser for several days in a row helped to solve the issue!
how strange, could be because the undereye area produces very little sebum and with the hrt the sebum production was greatly reduced.

Okay. Now I know what you mean.
