Kia Ora,
::) I was just wondering how common purging is ? How much money had gone to waste on buy female items of clothing only to throw them into the rubbish ?
Well I can tell you "My name is Zenda and I was once an accomplished purger of female attire !"
Did/do you purge ?
Or do you have the urge to purge ?
Even if you don't want to comment on this thread please humour me by doing a selection on the poll thanks...(This is real scientific stuff) ;) ;D .
::) Purging can be liken to the hangover after a night out on the piss... "Never again... Never again...Never again !" ( the following week) "Never again ... Never again...Never again !" (the following week) "Never again ... Never again...Never again !" ;) ;D
Metta Zenda :)
Yeah, I did it a couple of times early in my transition, but I don't really care about it now.
I must have purged 15 times over 6 years before i finally accepted it
I would never throw away something that was perfectly good and never had the urge to purge anyway. I have always known who and what I am and was able to hide it for 62 years till I finally melted down.I still have some things that are around 25 years old. My SO just laughs at me :) Now with her help , her and I have a lot of new things we just love to shop.
I could have paid for SRS right now with all the purging I did. :(
I purged once before I got married.
Other than that, when I pushed myself away I could only go as far as putting stuff into hiding.
There's no need any more and it feels great :)

Kia Ora,
::) Or at the least a new car ;) ;D
Metta Zenda :)
Never!I'm half Scottish and never throw anything away unless it is completely worn out
I never actually purged physical items, but I recently went through one last attempt at purging girliness. I didn't think it would work, but I figured I'd give one last chance at magically becoming comfortable in my body before I went through with giving up my hetero-male-privilege.
Have not purged by throwing clothes out. I have purged by putting them in a storage unit away from my house.
I purged my guy clothes last year. Does that count?
Actually I didn't even have any girl clothes until late 2012.

My "guy" clothes was just various worn out band shirts. They weren't really "purged", they were trashed because they were ragged out anyway. Switching over to women's tops at that time was just a coincidence.
Yes, I used to... I have purged over a thousand dollars worth of stuff. I used to cave to the shame but now that my wife has my back all of my things are here to stay!

I did a couple times, once as a teen, once around 21 after a vile drinking spell.
I learned and haven't since.
edit added: I did another cross-dressing purge April 2013, that was I tossed all my old male clothes to goodwill. oddly I haven't had any uarge to buy any back, ::roll eyes::
I've been dealing with being trans sine I was like 4 y/o. About the only time things came close to a purge was mom finding my stash of clothes and disappearing them.
Otherwise, during my guilty WTF moments, reality (and perhaps immigrant upbringing frugality?) settled in with a little voice telling me "You KNOW you'll be doing this again soon"
Now if only I could be as right about winning lottery numbers as I was about that
Kia Ora,
I wonder if any fledgling member's thinking about purging right now ?
Metta Anatta :)
My last purge I threw away some really expensive breast forms. I was really upset with myself about that for a long time. In total I probably had about three or four purges. Never did purge the boy clothes though. I'm never going to wear the work stuff again but I see no fault and T-shirt.
I purged once and it was a huge mistake! Now I just purge all my men's clothes. The sooner it's all replaced the better :D
Wow I didn't know this was a thing. I thought you meant purging like with food.
I've purged quite a few times for various reasons, eventually the circle started again until I stopped feeling guilty about who I am and accepted "her" into my life, now I can't imagine purging or going back.
