Interesting turnabout! Pope Francis seems to be mandating a softening of the formerly rigid and bigoted attitude of the Catholic Church in an attempt to draw the formerly dissed LGBTI believers back into the fold which is commendable. On the other hand I get it that the problem really stems from the raging AIDS epidemic in Africa and a societal attempt to discourage the behavior that spreads it.
