Hey, I have a condition called Pectus carinatum, which makes my rib cage triangle shaped. But I'm still a size B? apprently.
My bust is 81cm and a lot of that is my rib cage. and I was looking into Keyhole surgery but apprently I need to be a small B? I'm a 34B and I'm not sure if that is too big for keyhole.
I'm not on T yet, so my breast my shrink a little. But I have no clue if the Pectus carinatum Effects it? Like I'm not sure if my breast are okay, but it's just my rip cage adding all that CM onto it and surgery will be okay? My rib cage on top is 79cm and below is 74cm. I also have a bump which is around 7CM right in the middle so that adds to the bust too. :/
That's really hard for us to say. I was a small A cup and it was still recommended that I had a DI because of other factors. Sadly it's not just the bust size that matters in determining if we qualify for a keyhole surgery. I'd say your best bet would be to pick out a couple of surgeons who are known for their keyhole surgeries and then go for a consult at your top pick and see what they have to say. They'd also be better equipped to tell you how much actual breast tissue you had and how much of your bust is actually your ribs I think.
Btw breasts don't always shrink on T. Mine didn't, but they were squashed and the skin was stretched from binding.
It will really depend on a lot of factors. There are people with small Bs who can get away with it. It's possible they could shrink on T, but I don't think mine did either. There are factors like nipple and areola size, skin elasticity, how big your B is, etc etc. Best to ask a surgeon. Another thing you might look into would be a anchor T, which is where they preserve the nipple.

I was on the brink of a B on one side and an A on the other. I had good skin elasticity BUT I was on the boarderline of being too big. As a result I'm going to have to have a revision. I have buckles in the skin, very small, but without hair they are too obvious for me. You may have keyhole but need a revision. Find a surgeon to discuss it with but until then work out that chest! Get toned and fit. The bigger muscle helps the shape and keeping the body fat low can help you reduce them. T reduces them a little but not much.
I'm 6 weeks post op from peri-areolar keyhole surgery.
Best wishes and peace!
Honestly while the double lined scars of DI are more obviously scars I think that sometimes keyholes come out looking a lot more .... alien. There seems to me to be more positioning and the like that is off in the final results than in the DI. Could be 100% false what I just said, its been a while since I went scanning for top-op pictures.

With free nipple grafts (DI), the areolas are removed and placed in the male position on the chest (further out to the sides of the chest). This is not done with keyhole. This is what may make the keyhole/peri chests look "off" to you.
