Title: Adventures in epilating + gender EUPHORIA
Post by: MugwortPsychonaut on March 15, 2014, 01:36:38 AM
Last night I epilated almost all of my body hair. It's painful, but after about a half hour of doing it, I began to enjoy the sensation. Must be all the years of skateboarding! ;) After I got done, I stood in front of the mirror, looking at my smooth skin and my new breasts, with my hand over my mouth, grinning ear-to-ear. "Oh my god! Oh my god!" I exclaimed over and over.

"Oh my god! I'm a girl now!"

I really want to get my facial hair zapped. That's the next step. But for now, I'm so happy to be a girl!

In case you are interested in the more permanent options.

I had my first laser session Yesterday, I'm lucky to have black hair and very light skin so the technician dialled the laser to full and off we went.

One thing to keep in mind if you want to go for laser/electrolysis is that you can't epi\wax for about 6 weeks before the appointment.

I spent a couple of days looking around and in the end I found an awesome place, very professional, all procedures are performed by registered nurses and affordable, $200 for full body including facial hair and it took about 2 hours, pain was similar to epi. I'm going to try for 6 treatments and if there is anything left I'll probably do electrolysis on the stragglers (and the occasional grey hair).

Lol such a glutton for punishment.

I can handle it on my legs and arms but nowhere else.... But I pluck a lot and the tria has helped, I pluck an area clean and every other week I go over it in the tria and kill the hairs younger, not sure if that is better but it lets me not have to grow it fully back out.

"$200 for full body including facial hair" is an incredible deal. I have had about 4 sessions on my face and my first full body session. This has come to over $1200. I have seen very good results on my face, so I am hoping I will get the same across my body.

Alyssa

I don't know where the poster got that deal but if you monitor groupon, amazon local, etc you do see deals like that from time to time.

I recently bought a Braun epilator with shaving attachment and I must say, I should have done it a long time ago! I mostly use it on my arms and chest and it's done a great job.  ;D

I looked on Redflagdeals and Kijiji, made a list of all the places and called the top candidates, I was able to tell a lot about them over the phone but I based my initial list on web presence and any affiliation with medical facilities.

Fortunately the crappy spa/beauty salon ones usually won't do full male body removal but those with medical training and a professional attitude will gladly service you, after all these are usually staffed by nurses that got tired of working shifts and won't be shocked at the sight of a naked transsexual.

Same here, Mugwort Psychonaut. Well, I waxed instead of using an epilator. And I wouldn't say I enjoyed the pain even after getting used to it, but I could feel my mood lifting as more and more hair came off, if that makes sense.

I've only had my upper body done so far. I actually cried with happiness when I looked at myself in the mirror - "Wow I wouldn't hate how I look wearing a V-neck or scoop-neck blouse!! If I get this done regularly I'll feel like this all the time!"  My arms are next!

My SO is doing it for me with a home kit, but to get my face done I'll need to get an appointment with a professional - it hurts enough to make me wince up there, so he gets too nervous. He's afraid to hurt me, the poor dear. Maybe I'll try using an epilator myself.

Hey Christine,

I love the Bayonetta avatar. It's funny, I really enjoyed that game and all of my guys friends couldn't understand why ;)

Alyssa

;D I love the game too! Hopefully, I can cosplay as her one of these days, or dress as her for Halloween.

Being hairless from mo to toes is the best feeling ever! I get professional full body waxes and shave my legs and armpits in between as needed, but I have to say I always feel very tingly all over after the waxing.

"Gender Euphoria"? What a wonderful sentiment!

I have checked the laser places around me and they want 225 just for a full face treatment.
