So at one point in time some of us suffered from the horrible condition im calling HBA. It has many other names tho. So im wondering, yes I know my mileage may be different, on average how long does it take for hrt to start taking care of the hairy butt thing that I have dubbed HBD (hairy bum disorder). I have asked this on the tapatalk side of the forum but I guess no one is on there anymore lol.
Thanks in advance.
Kari
Short answer: it depends.
If you have a LOT of hair, it may not, very much. OTOH, if you have light hair down there for a dude, then eventually HRT may reduce your hair down thar by making it thinner/easier to remove simply by wearing underwear and working out.
If you've got a forrest down there though, you'll need laser/electro.
It varies greatly from what I've heard. I've spoken to people who were ape-like and after a year of HRT they had no hair down there, or very little, vellous hair that wasn't even troublesome. So it's really just a "wait and see" situation. Meanwhile, you can shave it using this magical thing:

Its a shaver that doesn't cut you in sensitive areas and it works wonders. A user on here by the name of Randi told me about it on a similar thread I made about this very problem. Its got to be one of the best investments i've made so far (I wont need it at some point but for now its amazing)
How hairy is hairy Kari? (no, I'm not changing the topic)
I have met a few GGs with hairy buts, even as far back as high school. I can't give you a qualified answer here because I was never very hairy to begin with, but I did see significant body hair changes beginning around the end of the second month. Also, as a further yardstick (ok, that's metre stick in Canada) I started HRT at age 59. Fortunately, the body hair reduction thing has been working out fabulously for me so far, unfortunately, my scalp hair, while softer and shinier, remains sparse- a favourable comparison would be Larry Fine. If you are early on in your HRT and you are unhappy with the furry abundance, you could wax it off I guess... otherwise, maybe you could look at laser or electrolysis.

sadly I have tried shaving, I have tried waxing, and I have tried delapitory (sp?) creams like Nair and always get the same reaction....a soft, virtually hairless girl butt, but sadly a couple of days later I end up breaking out worse then a high school kid lol.
Use an exfoliating mitt. That should take care of the break out problem, but like everything else we have undertaken, that doesn't happen overnight either. You need to use it fairly often. The dead skin cells that you sluff off every day need to be cleared away periodicaly so that when the hair starts to regrow, it isn't blocked.
