Primarily Left, although I have some of the traits of the right (Creative and Daydreaming).
I'm left-handed, right-brain dominant, however for instances such as music (or gender) theory, I've got my analytical moments.

Odd, I am left handed as well, but the left-brain qualities describe me much better than the right-brained qualities.

My brain changes. Sometimes I am logical. Some times creative. Rarely both at same time. It moves around.
intuition said right brained, test agreed. not sure i believe in the theory that these things are locked in certain hemispheres though. Reading the list I am the right-brained type traits though, even my writing is largely based on translating mental images into words.
I'm right handed, and very left brained, with a smidge of right-braininess. My job and interests include lots of problem solving and numbers, yet I'm called on to be creative at times. It's interesting that my home mirrors my two sides. My male side likes black, gray and metallic everything. My computer area can be classified as sterile: equipment, cables, gadgets yet spartan and clean. However, my bathroom is atrociously pink and cluttered with makeup.
im both by nature i know this as when i was a child i could use both hands to write with and would use both on one page. i could not decide which handed i was until i was at high school were i had to choose. being a nurse by profession means that i have to use all of m brain all the time and quickly switch from left sided tasks to right sided task. i just sort of do this with not much thought. but people on the outside do marval at how we can do this. does get a bit tiring though :) Also something in relation to gender that might sound strange is that when i was younger when i layed in bed id lay on my left side and think in a feminine way and on my right and think of bloky stuff. i dont know if there was a real reason for this but it always felt that there were 2 sides and laying on that side would make it easyer to think them thoughts. anyway im babbling now.
Right
& beyond that: scatterbrained
I put Both. Being Logically Intuitive or Intuitively Logical is just kinda scary. Part of my job is to write programs...you have to be logical or it will never work. But, I am also very intuitive and make those leaps that bypass logic to reach the right answers.
I've always been good with both words and numbers (Left Brained) but was also described by one manager as "thinking so far outside the box that you may never get him back inside of it"...definitely a Right Brained scenario.
And Rebis, I'll give you a run on that "scatterbrained" designation. The only good thing about getting older is that now I have an excuse for being so absent-minded.

I voted: Depends on when, where, and who is asking or needing me.
Since aparrently I have a rather balanced brain with a slight shift towards the right.
In such a way I function more as a chameleon; rational, analytical, logical and accurate when problems need to be solved, creative, imaginative and inituitive when there is a need for innovation. It all really depends on the situation/what is needed on whether I present myself as a righty or a lefty. However, when reading my stories there is a definite mixture of both, and I can't leave out one or the other. ;)
Someone tested me once upon a time because I am ambidextrous and ambidexterity runs in my family.
I'm center brained. The test came back 51/49. I can't remember which one was SLIGHTLY dominant.

it could have been the 51 side {sound of scooby doo snickering}

I think it was. But I cannot remember the corresponding left/right designation. Of course, it could have been the 49 side... I dunno.
^_^
i put both. every time i take online myers-briggs personality test, i get dead center between logic and intuition....its not supposed to be possible, but i do it :D
i think i tend more towards the left most of the time. i'm not so good at creating new ideas, but give me a lot of information and i'm great at synthesizing it into one product/answer/sentence/whathaveyou.
I'm an even mix of both. As an engineer I am analytical, cold, and calculating. But then I have the intuition that sometimes overrides my logic and enjoy painting a pretty picture or watching a sunset without having to wonder how many photons are being scattered to make the sky orange.
Left brained, according to both the test (11 left, 6 right) and my personal opinion. I think the right side of my brain does have significant influence though. I'm *very* analytical, but often intuitive and logical at the same time. My father and I were talking once, and he goes through everything step by step very methodically. I tend to just know the answer without working through all the steps, somehow putting all the information together. Also, I have synesthesia and am very visual (I'm Deaf), and so I think in pictures/"movies", and never in words.
Interesting response to the poll...a classic Bell curve...

Ya , you just wanted to flip us the bird huh. JK. But good point and visual.

Nice visual example.

Nice comparison of your analytical and intuition working together.
I am definitely left-brained, and am also right-handed. My wife, who is not androgynous but is definitely feminine, is both left-handed and right-brained. Together we can think straight. ;D
I think I am a mixture of both probably like 60% right and 40% left
I think my brain is balanced. People with the INTP personality type often do have balanced brains.
From that test I got 6 Left and 5 Right.
I guess I am in the middle in a lot of ways. I think being intuitive is just another name for logic, all you are doing it cutting out the middle steps and just not being concious of how you arrived at the answer.
Right brained.
And I disagree, Nicky. A lot of my intuition has nothing to do with logic. It's more out of the blue than steps skipped.
That's the beauty of intuition - just the unconcious mind doing stuff for you and then waving a flag for you to notice i.e. out of the blue. I still think there is a logic to it, you are just not conciously applying it.
I was thnking in particular of logic and intuition in mathmatics. In a lot of ways I am an intuitive mathmatician, just arriving at a solution and knowing when it is the right one without really understanding how I know. But if I take time to delve into it I can see the logic of it. Maybe my theory does not apply so much in other cases. Dunno. Seems logical to me ;)
I wonder if we can foster this ability? I often try, with tricky problems, to not think about it. Usually this works really well. I just say "brain, work it out", and the answer pops up later in the day, or in the middle of the night. I wonder if this is the same thing as intuition though..hmmmm

That makes sense: Intuition in a left-brained, logical context would be "logic with some steps skipped."
Intuition in a right-brained context wouldn't have the logical base and would seem more "out of the blue."

I think the idea of fostering this ability is a wonderful one-- leaving problems for your brain to solve on a level that you're not conscious of. And with "steps skipped" in the conscious logic, I think it would be intuition.
If we're not careful, we're going to stray into the area of magic-- communicating with the
unconscious to have it solve problems.

Oh, two handed! Extra clean, just don't wear it out. When you are old and decrepid you won't have to worry about it, just get someone else to do it.
I did some more investigation and tests to do with right/left brain. Appears I am very much a right brained person. Perhaps my logic is intuition afterall - in terms of maths I probably just retrofit it afterwards. Of course if the answer is right in most cases with maths you can find a logical reason why it is right i.e. intuition with maths just looks like logical leaps.
Yes!
And doesn't it make such sense that we'd have trouble figuring out which side of a binary we're occupying at any moment!
When I took this test I came up with about 50% male and 50% female traits. It was this test that made me realize that I am an androgyne. Before then I had no clue.
And I have had two years since I took this test to think about it. I now see and understand the past events of my life in a whole new light. I'm now remembering a lot of things that were said by my parents (my dad thought I was too feminine and I think blamed my mother), and I remember my schoolyard days (pretty miserable), and so on.
It all now makes perfect sense.
Ahaha! In that test I got an exactly 50:50 split, with all of the results alternating. That was fun to get. ;D (Small things amuse small minds...)
Altogether I got 5 of each. LRLRLRLRLR... ;D
Sorry Laurry, I spoiled your Bell curve/flicking the bird thing. Now people visiting this site won't be nearly as insulted! :D
I am seriously R it turns out

On another forum, I came across a similar thread -- "What sex is your brain?" (http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/sex/add_user.shtml)
You can take this test and see what you think!
