Arkansas Transgender Woman Fired for Using Women's Restroom

Kaye Bowens, a transgender resident of Star City, Arkansas, claims that she was fired from her job at McDonald's because she used the women's restroom. Bowens says she was upfront with her employer about being transgender and had been using the women's restroom for three months without any issue.
That all changed two weeks ago when a shift manager confronted her over the issue. The next day she was called into the general manager's office and fired. Bowens threatened a lawsuit and was offered her job back the same day, but on one condition: that she use the men's restroom from now on.
