Title: sexual secretions after phalloplasty?
Post by: jlives4music on March 26, 2014, 02:14:37 PM
quick question for the guys who have had phalloplasty with vaginoplasty. I know orgasm is possible, but ejeculation is not, but what does happen to the bodily fluids? i read somewhere that whichever gland that produces it is removed but i'm not sure.
I was going to ask the surgeon but i get really embarrassed talking about sexual stuff so i thought you guys might know?

thanks in advance

Not had the op yet so I won't be a lot of help but the surgeon I spoke to said the whole area gets cauterised so whether that prevents the secretions I'm not sure

Pretty much what Al James said.
I know they atleast used to cut out the area, but my surgeon told me that he burnt it out the area instead (less risk apparently).

And just incase you didn't know (but it may be a typo for you :p ) it is vaginectomy, not vaginoplasty (that is what MTF's get). I thought it might help for if you are researching things :)

There are no fluids anymore. You talk about a colpectomy. In this technic they remove all vaginal tussue ( that is the vagina not the hole bye the way) and when all vagina tussue is removed the closed the "hole".  And this surgery is done : offcourse you can not have sex anymore, but you would understand that :)

This operation technic is not that easy and most urologist wont dare /or could do it because of several reasons.  I know that the Gender team in the Netherlands wont close it totally because it is hard for them to remove all the tissue. UZ gent hospital in Beglium remove it all. They are more experience in this technic.
Other reason why this operation is difficult , beside blood losing, is the colon. The vagina ( who is inside your body) is milimeters next to your colon and bladder.  So the risk that the doctor will cut your colon is big when you have a doctor who isnt experience enough.

But when everthing went oke there is nothing there so no fluids. Even fluid from the skande ( very rare hole just underneath the clitoris and most women don't have them!) Because of the cutting in the clitoris and arround with the phalloplasy you don't have that skande anymore.  But people (woman)  who can do that (ejaculate) is very rare!

Ps: removing the vagina the so called Colpectomy , have NO effect of your orgasm! The only thing is that you can't be penetreted anymore (hehe ) so for people who can orgasm with their vagina : you cant anymore. But the (clitoral) orgasm is the same!! This is because of your pelvic muscles who are still there.

Wel enough information
