I'm out. Posted my coming out letter on Facebook shared only to family. Not sure if it was the best way to do it, but it's done now. Now I wait...
While typing this post, I already got a response from a spouse of a cousin saying "good for you for expressing yourself. That's probably one of the hardest things anyone can do"
That was nice of them, fingers crossed you get more good responces.
Response number 2, from a cousin: "We accept you no matter what <male name>. This took a lot of strength to share. I hope you can get the help you need and deserve."
I did this as well. My immediate family and close friends all got personal messages, but most people got the bomb dropped on them via Facebook. Apparently I was probably the last person anyone thought would be trans, but the outpour of support was amazeballs. You will find out who your friends REALLY are in 4-3-2-1.
Oh wow. I am like totalled floored. I just found out my first cousin twice removed was transgender. Also I have had positive responses so far from everyone who has said anything.
I'm glad you are getting such positive responses. That's trippy to find out someone else in your family is transgender
I am glad it is going well Caysee. :D
I'm glad that it is going well, and I give you props for being brave enough to put it out there on FB! 8)

I wouldn't call that the bravest way to do it. In person would have probably been better.
