Title: male in dreams. anybody else have this?
Post by: Miyah48 on April 06, 2014, 07:42:47 PM
I'm a male in my dreams. really really wierd. I always kind of wished that my dreams would be nice to me and have me as a female, but it puts me as a male. It was a sex dream, and i seemed to be enjoying myself but i was with a woman and i like men. No sexual desire for women at all post dream. Anybody else have ass backward dreams that dont reflect how you normally feel sexually, gender, or otherwise?

It used to happen more often than it does now.  Funny thing is, when I dream I am a man, I usually self correct and transform into a beautiful girl.  I still have pretty impressive abilities regardless when dreaming.  Seems almost sad to wake up.

+1

In fact I don't think I've had one of those for many months now. Good riddance!

I have only had one sex related dream that I can think of... it was with my ex, but I was definitely my current self

I've started having transition related dreams, where I accidentally drop my voice or forget my wig or do something else that outs me completely, so I think I'm finally moving to the point where I'm not just living as a man there.

Same here.  I'm always transitioning in my dream.  Sort of in between genders just like in real life.

I suppose we are all transitioning in the dream world too.

Yeah I'm having more and more dreams where I've represented myself as female in them. Or transition themes. Like I'm having FFS. Having a bunch of those. In one dream a Dr was about to perform my FFS in an ordinary office with a local anaesthetic .....lol ...scary.

My dreams tend to be evenly split between
1) Like watching a movie. I am not an active part of it
2) Me as a female
3) Me as a male

All these perspectives can change within the dream.

Um yep, ditto. Super scary.

Actually right after I actually had my FFS, I was freaked out because my eyebrows were so high. In a dream one of those nights, I had elected for a re-operation and came out of it brutally disfigured by the surgeon. Most horrific nightmare I have ever had. Blehck.

I am me in my dreams.  Mostly I have no sense of being a particular gender, but I have had dreams of being anatomically female since I was about 12 and I was always very sad when I woke up from those prior to transitioning.  I always hoped I'd have dreams like that because I thought that would be as close as I ever got to feeling female without guilt or shame.

I still have dreams where I am female from the waist down, but I no longer fear waking form those dreams nor do I feel any shame.  When I wake up now, I am female and I know it.  It's also nice to want to get out of bed in the afternoon morning.
