Title: Hit on by another straight guy
Post by: MugwortPsychonaut on April 07, 2014, 02:03:33 AM
Tonight as I waited for the bus, some 40-something niceguy approached me. He told me he liked my hair and my bow. Then he asked if I wanted to go with him to the bar.

"No," I politely declined. Politeness was in my voice, I swear!

I'm not interested in guys, really. Well, for the most part. Well, okay. There's a skater I've known for years, who I suddenly find TOTALLY ADORABLE! (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php?topic=162707 (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php?topic=162707)) But I'm getting away from the point.

I got hit on and asked out by the guy. Then I got on the bus, and this guy says he thought for a second, I was a female friend of his.

Aaaaaah, I must be passing. Sometimes, anyway.

As annoying as it is, it must still be flattering to know that not only are you passing, but people are finding you attractive on top of it.  Getting hit on from time to time will just come with the territory of being female.

Interesting. Guess you could take that as a compliment then :)
