OK OK i know that everyone here at susans is for the most part friendly but i feel disconnected. what i really want is a trans friend to whom i can speak to. you know with similar interests and just some one i can relate with.
i like video games, reading, writing, listening to older metal music, sports, and making terrible jokes. is there any person out there who wants - no needs a friend like me. i just need a friend.

I work in my states gambling outlet so I get paid to watch the sport and racing. You learn to have a basic knowledge of everything even if it doesn't interest you. (anything for tips from the punters winnings)

Well, I pretty much have no friends in the real world, so don't feel bad. You can PM me anytime you'd like as well. We share interests, all of them actually, aside from sports which I've gotten away from a bit (I am still an MMA fan though, honestly)...

As for video games, I'm an RPG/strategy gal. I like the Mass Effect, Fallout, and Civilization series the most.
Reading, I read all kinds of books et al but haven't found the time to read for pleasure in a while, with school and all.
I like the older bands, especially the British ones. Iron Maiden is my fave, but Black Sabbath/Ozzy are close behind, alongside Metallica.
Sports, yes. I love football (the real thing, not the American version of rugby they call football :D ) and am actually watching Hull City and Arsenal right now, even though I support neither team. I just enjoy watching and following the sport. Plus, Arsenal's Olivier Giroud is especially yummy ;)
I also enjoy ice hockey, where my Montreal Canadiens are looking to make is 3-0 in the first round of the cup against Tampa.
Bad jokes? Oh yes, I have a schlong list of Anthony Weiner jokes ;D
Oh, as far as myself goes; I recently turned 26 and am from Boston, MA. With video games, I'm all over the place; I like most genres - fighting, rpg, action/adventure, etc... Reading, I like the classics I suppose, but primarily find myself reading Marvel and DC comics. Metal, I'm big into classic metal (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Sabbath, Dio, etc...) a few nu-metal bands are OK though. I do love to write and have flirted with writing a screenplay in the past. I wanted to got to school for filmmaking but chose another major, but yeah, I have some ideas I've been kicking around in my head. Sports, I actually just started a thread where I threw out a few of my athletic accomplishments. I'm only casually into them now, but I still know how to talk sports from my history and I still watch MMA. Bad jokes, my sense of humor stems from bad jokes and randomness, some people can't make that work, but I feel I do well. Not really into crude/toilet humor however, but I won't fault someone who is, provided their not being too extreme and/or disrespectful...

I'm 23 and I like videogames too, mostly RPGs! I'm a huge nerd and even do tabletop sometimes. Final Fantasy is probably my favourite RPG series, or at least the one I grew up playing the most... My other favourites would be more obscure j-rpgs or classics like Baldur's Gate. =)
I prefer playing online games nowadays (co-op, not much of a pvp person), so just let me know if you need gaming buddies. I'm not playing anything currently because I can't think of anything to play anymore. My PC isn't very good...
Music I listen to everything. Listened to a lot of metal back in the day, nowadays not as much.

Apart from Ozzy and Black Sabbath my music usually lands in the hard rock category (Mötley crue, Alice Cooper, Van Halen, Def lepeord).
With reading my taste vary my bookshelves are full with classics, fantasy, plays, nonfiction, autobiographies, horror, thrillers and some kids books in there as well. Right now I'm trying to read Dante Inferno with some Poe when it gets a little too heavy.
When it comes to sports a perfect Tuesday and Wednesday for me is nobody in the store and the Detroit Red Wings playing on TV. I keep up to date with all sport due to my work (loving the way Liverpool are playing right now). But I am proud to say since Brett Favre won, I've only been wrong twice in picking the super bowl winner

For metal lately I've been into Epica and Nightwish lately.
Previous metal favs have included Moby and Austrian Death Machine.
And I'm always a NIN fan. So glad he's back on tour.
And I love college football. Huge SEC fan.

I'm not into video games so much, but everthing else you listed is right up my alley. I love classic metal \m/, play guitar, like baseball, basketball and to a lesser extent, football and I have a unique sense of humor that often involves bad puns. PM me if you like. I don't bite.

Dragon age is pretty fun, imdefinitely getting the third. Epica and nighwish are always great to listen to. Nine inch nails was my first concert, nothings compared since, completely blew me away. Trent is amazing and pretty hot too.

I dunno much about basketball, but I'd say I like the Thunder to win, because I liked the SuperSonics, but because of their name mostly :D
I'm more interested in the NHL playoffs. Hoping the Wings can give Boston a nice beating, amybe put it all the way out to 7 games before Montreal have to play them.

The more games the better we have a young line up they need to get as many minutes as they can. There was a stage when a thought they were not going to get in. Oh well we are down two-one but it is a best of seven. The team with the most cups against the team with the longest active playoff streak, will be a good series for the papers. Of cause we all know the wings will win :D

You also might want to see if you can find any trans social events or support groups in your area. That's how i was able to make quite a few trans friends.
