I was invited to give a seminar last week and I turned up, some people know me from my pretend days, some didn't have a clue who I am.
I gave my talk and it went well.
Then when people were leaving a woman came up and I recognised her as a person I employed some 15 years ago. She said, 'Oh, I see you are fully female now, you look great' then said something that rocked me 'The sadness that was always in your eyes has gone'
Just thought I would share.
A very nice comment Cindy. I hope it made your day.
I so know those sad eyes :(
One step forward, onestep back and constantly twirling.
Getting very dizzy.

One day Sis, just remember this is no race and your sisters are ready to help at any time.
Always great to get that kind of feedback! :D
I bet that really made your day. I ran in to an old boss the other day and she told me I must like my new job as I was much more at ease. I didn't have the courage to tell her that I have accepted myself and begun to at least allow small parts be expressed to the world.

I'm constantly amazed how much we thought we hid, and failed to do so.

I went to my 20yr HS reunion last November.. Apart from everyone accepting me, the general consensus was, 'What took you so long?'
Glad for you Cindy ,Prove that having peace with yourself and acting to it make you happier.
I know, doubt is wrecking my mind some times.

So is Brother! <3
Also, that's great Cindy, so happy for you. I've had a lot of similar comments like that in recent weeks. Like a lot of people I've met at college has been all like, "Kade, dude, you're the happiest I've ever seen you since we met." It always makes my day
That's awesome, Cindy! Happiness is a wonderful thing.
I have heard similar things myself. I see old pics of me (very few exist, and that was intentional) and see the same dour expression and dead eyes in almost every one.
Cindy, that was very sweet. I bet that felt so good!
Wow, that is really powerful hon! I didn't know you before, but she's right. You always look very happy now. :)
