Title: Warning Labels
Post by: ErinWDK on April 26, 2014, 10:49:44 AM
I went and bought a new umbrella to go with Erin's fashion palette.  This is white with spring pastel polka dots.  It is a Totes umbrella - I have others and have used them forever.  Since this is new it has all the latest features - notably a Warning Label!

CAUTION!

* To avoid injury ALWAYS point umbrella away from self or others.
* Faiure to CLICK when resetting could result in injury.
* Always follow instructions.

So, our society has become so litiguous that the most mundane objects need to come with warnings.  I don't know if I should laugh, cry, or get sick to my stomach.

Is it even possible to hurt yourself with an umbrella?

The curve balls life throws at us...

You Shuld luagh.

I Mean ALWAYS Follow instructions

As the last instruction. So  it tells you what to do. Then tell you to do what it tells you to do like your not reading a WARNING notice.

I have a mildly retarded child who follows those instructions to the letter. If she's the only kind of person they benefit that's good enough for them to exist, but I do lol at them plenty. Food packaging is especially goofy when it warns you that it gets hot when you cook it. :laugh:

I followed the instructions on the shampoo bottle "wash, rinse, repeat" and now I'm out of shampoo.
