i wonder if anyone had VFS at yanhee.
it seems like yanhee had done this sugery longer than yeson.
price was great. and yanhee VFS dosen't require botox injection or vocal training. dose anyone had this procedure?
or any info?
Sounds interesting, it would be nice to hear more about this. I guess the voice training is optional in any case - but I doubt you can get any good voice without it, no matter what surgeon?
I know Dr Gross in Berlin did this sort of surgery a long time ago, like pre-2000. But he still cannot produce consistently good results, so time may not be the point. did you hear examples? Where from do you know about him?
i heared example voice files at dr.ornouma's website.
it seems fine.
i had heared dr.ornouma's sugery dosen't require botox injection or vocal training.
one of yanhee hospital's korean guide told me that.
he said there are 50 korean people who had done this procedure.
What procedure is it? Glottoplasty as with Dr Kim and a few others, CTA as with some others in the US or Germany, something more invasive as with Dr Thomas? If if requires no voice training at all, it sould have to be the latter as with all other techniques some sort of voice training is inevitable to get resonance and some other parameters changed. And you always need to get used to the new voice anyways. I think with CTA you can rather soon just get going again and dont need much voice training regarding the surgery itself, althoug it seems many have the problem that as it only raises pitch, it may sound still odd and they do voice training anyways to get those other things changed. I had the impression about CTA that the voices sound stressed though.
CTA means, they basically tighten the vocal chords, glottoplasty shortens them by seqing them together and Dr Thomas is IMO the only one who tries a complete reconstruction of the larynx including resonance space and such.
So it would be interestin to know what technique he uses, how many people he has operated upon in total and if there are any english or european language examples availabe.
i had asked to korea's yanhee guide.
he said procedure will be differ from person to person.
doctor should see neck in coulcelling.
I guess without some good english communication it is hard to get proper information and make an assessment if this is something worthwile to consider as an option. If english language patients should come to that clinic, they would have to provide detailled english language information on the procedures they are performing and on what basis they are making a decision for a procedure plus they would have eventually to present englisch or euro language voice samples. If that is not the case, it will sound like a risky thing do to. Maybe Maya did the same thing with Dr Kim though.
