This saved my life big time! :)
I'm glad I was blessed with the ability to draw and be creative.
I was into makeup at a younger age...in high school and my friend would always let me borrow her makeup, and I would be putting them on while I'm in class and the teacher is teaching. I know I shouldn't be doing that, but I was so into it. Later on, I taught myself how to do more advanced makeup...it took a lot of practice to get to where I'm at. At first I would only use eyeshadow on my eyes and that's it, now I can do anything I want to.
I attended beauty college at 18 and graduated at 19. It's not really my passion, but I didn't know what I wanted to do in life. My mom used to be a hair dresser back in Cambodia and she went to the same beauty college before me. She didn't pass her state exams because of the language barrier. Anyway, I didn't learn much from beauty school, but I know enough to get me places. Having the license helped me a lot, especially having a job at the nail shop...which is the reason I was able to get on hrt. :) YAY! I'm 20 years old right now, if you want to know.
Sorry, I was getting off topic. I used to do other people makeup as well, but then I kinda feel depressed and think too much about stuff. I kinda let go off a lot of things. Now I only do my own makeup. It does helps a lot to pass as a girl even with short hair and unisex clothes.
Me with my makeup being silly,

I like doing makeup for fun, but I don't see it as a job for me.
I'm still searching for what I want to do with my life.
Hey, not bad at all! Nice! ;)
I like the dark smokey eyed look I use cover up foundation draw my eyebrows on and do dark eyeliner. It makes me look mysterious and I love it
I normally do my eye makeup similar to the top picture.
I was taught to do my makeup my cis-girl roommate
I really like the top picture. It's pink, but still understated. A lot of trans women go way overboard on makeup (poorly done makeup), so this skill will serve you well.
And welcome to Susans, Nikki.
cis girls learn this skill as teenagers or pre-teens... us t-girls are often adults when we transition.. so we got to catch up.
My suggestion is don't underestimate the value of a good primer.
Seriously, a primer can make or break a makeup job.
