I'm a biker babe, but got no Harley at the moment. Waiting 'til I move south to get a new one. Waiting for the boob fairy to get some hot girly leathers!

Went to change the headlights in my loaded 2008 Sebring (bought it used and LOVE to drive it) and chipped two nails yesterday. :(

Other than that I build gaming computers from scratch and do home repairs.

Nope. And power tools freak me out, always have. That said, I'm weirdly interested in building sites and the construction of all kinds of structures...just as long as it's not me having to do the building I'm fine.

I love working on anything electronic, building things, doing little home repairs... I built the computer I'm typing this message on. I also designed its case myself. That was several years ago, before my transition. Now that I'm out an embracing my femininity, I'd have made the case girlier if I were doing it today, hehe~ Maybe a nice pink computer? I might redesign it yet, though. Besides the desktop, I've also got two laptops. One I received broken and repaired, and the other I've replaced so many parts on that it's practically a different machine at this point.

I love the smell of raw oil that comes out of the tailpipe of a freshly built motor.

I have a small CNC mill and I love to machine parts (often while I'm posting here, I'm actually baby-sitting the mill making sure it doesn't eat itself). Its neat to watch the computer do all the work.

I do all my own home repairs and cut my own grass/gardening (although I don't really enjoy it).

I love the sound of a V8,there's been a bronze 72 Barracuda cruising Blackpool sea front today.I was a biker for 12 years and rebuilt and worked on  the BSA and 3 TriumphsI owned.Often fancied a Harley Davidson Sportster but I've not ridden a bike since 1986.I like the new Mustang and Challenger but not the Camaro.I had muscle cars,Chevelle,Barracuda,Dart,Javelin and a Comet I also worked on them and helped my then boyfriend work on his 68 Cougar.I've rebuilt engines, carbs, can do some body work repairs including welding but electrical stuff I leave alone

I was horrible at that stuff.  I can just hear my father now telling me to man up and then ultimately telling me he will do it all on his own while I bring his un-used tools inside.

Hi everyone, I'm returning after along time gone, but as far as cars and things go. I'm a gear head I love Mopar always have always will. I love guns bigger the better. Me and my friends go shooting and the track all the time. I worked in the fabrication industry and love it. Its cool to see something start as nothing and finish as this massive structure. I really thought I was weird for being someone that needs to be the woman that I'm meant to be but be interested in these things. It's good to know that I was wrong.xt

I don't work on cars as much as I used to due to time, not being transgender. But I still do minor things to them except for oil changes because it's a pain to get rid of waste oil in NJ. I do minor appliance repair in the house (had to replace the rollers on our LG dryer last month) and still build computers.

I love nail polish, but I'm just too rough on fingernails. However, I keep my toes painted pretty much all year long and love it :)

I know a woman, born woman (in case anyone wonders), all of 5'3" tall and maybe 100 pounds soaking wet, but a born grease monkey. She bought a crashed Lamborghini countach (a real one) at an auction. Most people wouldn't take on a project like this let alone see the value in it, but she did and over the course of 10 years restored the car to factory new. So when she shows up at a car show most people think this little skinny blonde chick married the right guy and won the car in a divorce, but it isn't the case. It was a case of a woman who saw a pile of junk and could see the beauty inside.

I love cars myself, I own 4 of them. My current driving favorite is my 2014 stingray convertible (if it would ever warm up in the northeast).

Oh gawd, I HATE working on cars.  It's dirty and I basically suck at it.  Every time my wife had car problems and tried to make me deal with it, it was like, "Just beacuse I have a penis, it doesn't make me know about car problems.  Call a mechanic." Like I can wave my magic wand (so to speak) and magically fix it?

I do, however, know about home repairs.  I suck at plumbing (yes, I'll be needing more buckets and towels, please) but I did do a complete kitchen remodel two years ago.  I used to be an apartment manager in college, so I did a lot of repairs then.

I also used to be a guitar tech/luthier and can turn a pile of wood into a musical instrument.  I also fix and modify amplifiers, and was once the USA's Hiwatt amp tech.

I basically have a garage full of tools that I use all the time.  Old habits die hard, I guess.

Car restoration is one of my favorite things. Currently restoring '68 Firebird. It's a rolling shell right now and I'm cutting out the cancer/rust and welding in New metal. My favorite restoration though was a 1969 mustang gt, 302, red with black interior. So wish I hadn't sold it, but it paid for a whole years tuition for college.
I've also built all of my desktop computers since 1996.
I've recently moved and my shop is in a complete shambles still.

I did not really spend alot of time turning on muscle cars, my time went to restoring old Army trucks, and building off road rigs.  I have Pinzgauer 712, My ex and I rebuilt matching Uminog 404s, as well as countless American duece and a halfs.  Now I spend all of my time working on and rebuilding boats and yachts.  I was a engineer in the Coast Guard for 13 years before starting my new life.  Fuel oil runs in my veins.
My living is still made by getting dirt under my nails.  I dont mind, my friends wife has made a family rule that if I am wearing a skirt or something feminine I am not allowed to touch any tools.  I really like the rule!!

I have a fetish for odd small truck/SUV/Jeepish (but not actual Jeeps, that would be to normal) things.

I'm getting ready to overhaul a chrysler 318ci engine on a 1999 dodge ram 1500 p/u, along with its transmission. I'm a school trained mechanic,  and also do fixing around my home. I also got a 2003 mitsubishi eclipse GT, that I need overhauling, its engine and transaxle, but first the p/u, for utilitarian reasons. Funny I work in a totally different area for a living, the legal field. I just sit all day and type, do legal work on cases, I'm also a paralegal :)

In my previous life I built a 33ft steel sailboat, designed, built and programmed a 6m x 2m CNC plasma cutting table/CNC router, Designed PCBs and a whole lot of other projects. I can MIG, TIG and Stick weld pretty much anything and I'm handy with mills, lathes and most powertools.

My father was a mechanic and, being the oldest, I saw far too much of the inside of a garage. I HATED getting dirty and I HATED cars. I liked mechanical things and had a talent for it but was far too girly to indulge in such pursuits. I was far more into sewing and the fabric arts.

Long after transition (decades!) and being fully integrated into woman's life, I began to realize I had some talent and knowledge in certain mechanical areas that was quite rare (for either gender) and began branching out into these areas. Now, in my senior years and being recognized in these areas I am even asked to teach others.

I STILL don't like getting dirty but I DO like passing on the skills and knowledge. (And I still like sewing LOL!)

Just thought I'd add that my step-mum is a mechanic who seems to have an encyclopedic knowledge of anything car related. I don't know a thing about cars myself. I've never even owned one, but I love listening to her talk about them. You can hear the passion when she does. Probably how I sound when I talk about electronics. She also comes home every day with her hands stained with oil and has to clean them up with Gojo (that stuff smells really good, btw). No way nail polish would last on her, hehe~

I LOVE bikes always have and always will I'm more to the super-class side so speed just drives me insane! And not to forget custom made exhaust pipes! GAH! The sounds they make gives me eargasms! I have a bike its only a 500cc but it shall suffice.. for now that is... My uncle so called "borrowed" the bike to me but I kinda made it mine-ish and hes let me keep it anyways as long as I look after it. And boy I sure do! Having plans on having an akropovic exhaust installed soon so neighbors I highly recommend grade A earmuffs! Ill be getting my license in a few months so after that ill be hitting the freeway for a "test run" well not immediately maybe after a few months on obtaining my license. And I do work on my bike.. currently I'm getting a quick shifter installed for my two stroke 500cc v4 powered rd500r (YAMAHA) with the quick shifter installed it would drop gear shifts by 1.9 seconds from the first to the third gear after that I can shift up to five and six as easily without losing speed. Don't ask me anything about cars tho I don't know jack about them. Now... time to get messy and I'm probably gonna need a bath.. again..

I'm quite tall so I use it to my advantage and ride my yamaha 1200 cc super tenere almost every day. :) There hasn't been a day so bad in my life that a few turns in the hills around here won't cure. It's my sanity machine for sure...

I did some time as an aircraft mechanic for the Boeing C-17.  I really liked the job but I wasn't "grunt" enough for the pace required.  If I could have been allowed to take my time, however, I think I would have "loved" it instead of "liked" it.  The humming of the actuators, the pumping of the hydraulic lines, the hissing of the engines, the "tick tick tick pop" of the torquewrench, watching the girl touch down on the very landing gear you put on her...oh...but those days are behind me now hahahaha.

I love playing with cars too. I've been slowly restoring a 1970 BMW 2002 for the last 5 years. Rebuilt the motor last winter and while it was out had the car repainted. This winter was supposed to be suspension rehab, but ended up working on the racecar all winter instead. Summer time is racing and rock climbing. Now that's tough on your fingernail polish! I'm basically resigned to just keeping up with my toes.

How many of you gals like sound of hot motor just as much as nice painted nails (oh yea) I am late model mustang girl and you ..What makes you go varoom?? I am building outbuilding and the girl in me adding lots cool stuff ,How has being girly made you projects more complex in good way? My colors that i can use now is wonderful ..Does any gals here do yard art ?? Ive got spider/trees /dragon fly /fish in metal type stuff . In my life I used to be a gas turbine engine technician, so needless to say I'm ridiculously mechanically inclined.  It's funny because I can repair most machinery like lawnmowers, snowblowers, motorcycles, etc. and my cisgender friends who didn't know me as a male are all like "I would have thought transwomen would formerly be girly-guys".

I'd snicker and say "Aren't stereotypes fun?  Hey, I also used to masturbate 6 times a day and was one hell of a womanizer."

Nice to find another 2 stroke fan here, my 2 bikes currently are Aprilia RS125 and RS250. Let us smoke out the road when we roll ;D

Had to stop the modifications on RS125 and had to sold of some of my exotic bike parts to fund my transition but will be back doing up the bike once FFS is done >:-)

I like to take care of machinery, cars, fix stuff, care for the plants and trees, etc.
Being very practical and having lots of experience, it's just part of what I do now.
Tomboy.  Oh boy.
The changes are making it more difficult due to loss of physical strength and endurance.
The breasts, small as they are, get in the way, and the sports bra can give me a backache.
The meds I take force me to avoid the direct sun, so the Mr. Fixit stuff has to be curtailed to morning and cloudy days.
Overdoing it (which results in pain and/or exhaustion requiring a big nap) is all too easy.

I have a long and fast stride, clocking from 5 mph to 12 max.  5 is my normal gait.  Going slower than that is painful to me (how's that for weird !!).
This has not changed one bit.

Raised around aircraft and was in the business for many years :)

Also was into Mustangs and had a 1968 Shelby GT500KR all original, low miles car in perfect shape, sold it when I moved to California 6 years ago for 250k which helped pay for the new hous :)

Now I build and paint custom Harleys for customers around the country.. shop is by appointment only so I can just be girly myself as I do my artwork, I like it that way!

Horsepower is fun.  I race dirt on a racekart.  I still enjoy the old stuff, but now, there are additional things i do I never used to do, like cook.

Time to get in my 2002 Z28 and go to work.  I melted all four tires on it once at a half mile oval spectator race.

Gotta love it
