Title: Me Smooth
Post by: wantobeagirl on May 01, 2014, 01:03:22 AM
Over a month ago i bought the Me Smooth IPL Hair removal system. It has 3 settings (low, medium and high). My skin tone is light brown with black hair and have been epilating before. I start out the process by showering and exfoliating my skin which i do daily. I then epilate any growing hairs which would be my legs, arms, under arms, pubic area and face then use the Me Smooth on high setting and making 2 runs all over. Since i started hair has been thinner and there are areas which i have not noticed any hair. Prior to this when epilating hair grows back after about a week. My main problem is the facial hair since i do not see as good as results compared to the rest of my body. Maybe due to my facial hair has a lot of white hairs so iv'e been plucking them out.

At least for me i find it was a good investment. The cartridge that came with it is rated for 6000 pulses and replacements are about $50. Mine lasted for about 3 weeks before needing to be replaced. Good thing i was able to buy online a cartridge with 120,000 pulses for $168.

I'm pretty sure you would get better results if you shaved right before the treatment rather than epilate. Epilating pulls the hair out and the IPL units rely on the dark pigment in the hair to flash heat and inactivate the follicle.
But I'm glad to hear it's working for you.

Two posts and you're promoting a product?
I read the reviews on QVC for this. It was pretty negative.
