Does anyone from the Adelaide gals have any recommendations on good salons for wax / laser / electrolysis. I can imagine that there may be different places for different things... Are there any good stories you may have?
I have general anxiety about the hit and miss approach of finding a friendly place.
I'm also looking to get a more androgynous haircut...
Any help would be much appreciated!
I had all my laser at Adelaide laser centre, they were great!
My hair is done by Parlour in Glenelg.
Hi Bols;
I am actually from Southern Victoria, outside of Melbourne, but last year was in Adelaide for a conference (and met up with Cindy). Whilst there I found a fabulous TS friendly beauty therapists, which I highly recommend.
I had a full leg and bikini line (G String) wax, eyebrow shape and tint and eyelash tint and manicure and pedicure (including polish). For the Bikini line (G String) wax they gave me a Hollywood Landing strip.
Try ooh la la 6 Waterloo St Glenelg. (See: http://oohlalabeautyboutique.com.au/)
But they are only a Beauty Therapist. I think Cindy has a recommendation on a TS friendly Hair Stylists in Adelaide/Glenelg.
Hugs Judith
Thanks Cindy! I know someone from the Rundle Street Parlour, just was not sure about the salon in general.
I'm so stressed out about these things. I'm very much progressing carefully (still thankfully) discussing things with my wife.
I wanted to make some small steps.
It's so early days.
Hi judithlynn! Many thanks!
I'm looking for any info on beauty salons & laser centres... Just trying to get my bearings. (Nervous LOL).
Hi Cindy! Is that laser clinic on Fullarton Road?
I've worked up enough courage to go to the hair salon...Will pop into Parlour at Glenelg today.
Take care!
Yes I think they moved to Fullerton Rd from Greenhill Rd, been a few years since I've been there.
Parlour is really nice - but it isn't cheap by any means at all!!!!
I won't put what I pay to save embarrassment but pm me if you want
Can't say I've had any issues at any of the random places I've been around Adelaide..
Thanks Kelly...maybe I'm over thinking it...still... It's been a steep coming out learning curve recently. I'm not someone that has amazing self confidence unfortunately...even that I'm known to be a talkpot of the party amongst my friends. It's all nervous energy.
