Hi everyone!
New member though I've been lurking a for a few months!
I'm Amy, I'm 26 from Manchester in the Uk and I'm just taking my first faltering steps down the road of transitioning! Which is scary, but exciting at the same time!
I'm out, ish, all my friends know (and took it well) and select parts of my family do including my parents (who took it neutrally at best) but not out at work yet.
I'm still learning how to play the game when I'm out as me (rather than being stuck as Andrew) but luckily my best friend is 6ft and built like a rugby play so he looks after me!
Look forward to talking to you all and getting involved with the community!

Welcome Amy!!
It's great that you have supportive friends, and hopefully your parents will become more accepting with time, as is often the case.
As you already know, there is so much information and helpful, supportive people here. It's just a fantastic place ;D
Nice to meet you Amy,
Shannon
Hi Amy,
Welcome to Susans, sounds like you are doing well and everyone is accepting, it's super important to build your support network, have someone so confide in and lean on when you feel down.
Susans is a great place and I'm looking forward to see your input.
A big warm welcome to the family Amy! I hope you enjoy it here and make lots of new friends. Here is a BIG HUG :icon_hug: to welcome you and make you feel right at home! :)
