well, I decided no more male. I can't do it any more. I went to my therapy session tues. as myself and decided that's how I'll do it from now on. I went to Target yesterday and got some outfits and a really nice black knee high dress. The dress is for my next therapy session. I don't have male clothes anymore except for a pair of boots and two pair of jeans. I woke up this morning and tried on my dress and I guess my brain just snapped. I went to my normal restaurant wearing skinny jeans and a pull over dress put on my make up and just said the hell with it I can't live the way I lived for so long any more. So I guess it's my new birthday.
Congratulations and best of luck. I'm very proud of you!

thanks
me, too, proud of you, sis!
I soooo want to just tell my family I want.. no.. really -need- to do this and just walk away, saving my mind from the hurt and pain, but sadly, I know I wont, I;m not strong enough.
I truly envy you have the courage to do this for yourself. I wish I was as strong.

Stephanie, that's the way to do it. A lot of people spend years planning their transitions and they end up a few unhappy years older.
Enjoy womanhood. Those have been the best days of my life.

thank you so much , so far so good , nobody has thrown any thing at me yet.
Congrats! That has to be such a relief.
One day last year I just said "screw it". I felt so ridiculous in boy clothes with my nipples poking through the shirt one day that I never wanted to play that charade ever again.

You get used to it. I've been in boy clothes with poky nipples since I was 12 (gynecomastia). On the plus side I haven't started HRT and I'm already a "B" cup. Even while losing weight that hasn't changed so most of it must be breast tissue rather than fat.
Congrats Stephanie. I hope from here on out it will be nothing but smooth sailing.

<GRIN> I will be surprised if they ever do. Congratulations and happy birthday! I would send over jelly and ice cream but fear they would melt in transit.

If they ever do, pick it up and throw it back! ;)
Awesome !
Sorry, word of the week for me due to being subjected to the Lego Movie and not being able to get the theme song out of my head.
But that is what it is. Awesome.
Congratulations !! ;D ;D
Congratulaions!!! It must be awesome to be free of those chains at last. =)
Enjoy your new life! ^^
Good for you, Stephanie!
Anything comes sailing over throw it back and then some as well :)
My timeframe keeps getting shorter too. Hoping to join you soon.
Hurrah! So happy for you!!!
Stephanie,
I'm sooo proud of you! I'm positive you did it the right way, just say 'screw it', I can't live as a male impersonator anymore. Because in the end, isn't that what we all were, male impersonators? Some are just better actresses. I'm so happy I did it much like you did, and I wouldn't change a thing. I went full time after less than six weeks on HRT, but once given the opportunity, you have to take it. Just like if your mind tells you it's time. This will be the best time of your life, Steph. The next thing you need to do is have a smiling photo of you in makeup and one of your new outfits. Good luck, girl! Hugs, Mira
thank you every one for all the encouragement . Susan's has been such a great help for me.
Woohoo!!! It's the first leap or step that's the hardest!! I'm so proud of you!
thanks it's get fun once you get started. It's that first mountain that's the problem
