Well there's only six days left till my surgery with Dr Brassard, and it still seems surreal. I guess I've been so busy trying to get ready for the trip and the return home that I really haven't had time to absorb everything. Anyway I kinda swing between being excited and being nervous but mostly I feel calm. Much more calm than I figured I'd be. Next week I'll probably be a basket case but today I seem to be worrying more about missing a connection with my flight or having my luggage end up in some city other than Montreal.
I really want to thank everyone here for their advice, and the information that you've shared. I think that may be one reason that I feel somewhat calm at this moment. I still worry about complications, and hope, pray that everything will turn out well. I try to imagine how everything will be in a month and it's beyond my scope. I'm so ready to be .....................
Well if anyone has any last minute advise, don't hold back.
Thanks for everything,
Kristin
Kristin,
I will say breathe would be my advice.
You will be fine and will be around if you need.

Absolutely that!! What Izzy said is the truth. As for a month from now, you will probably be sore and busy taking care of a new you, but more than that, my crystal ball will not let me see.
