My bday i am get a butterfly tattoo with tail that goes under my wrist .In that tail is gender markers and my female name along with my biggest fan .(my wife of coarse ) name .. The tail is out sight when i am holding my hand in natural way .So i have control of my secret ( some what). This is my way of saying i am trans and PROUD OF IT...I strong believer that to the right people i should spread a positive word about me and trans world we all live in ..I do not live in this time to just take up space but to share what i am .( to right groups or individual that safe for all my loved ones and myself ) We have to pick our battles small or what ever but for next trans people lets at least open some kind of door for them even if its just a crack .. Ever since I got me ears peirced early this year, I've been looking for the perfect tattoo designs. I'm not presenting as female just yet, so its my little way of saying :icon_pissed: to society. One tattoo will be really really girly, the other will be not so girly. I'm actually pretty excited to get some ink, but I just can't find the exact designs I want.

Hangs head in shame, I want a tramp stamp, but not a visual one. One that will only be seen by those close to me, symbolic once you know me you will see what i am.

That is a very sweet idea, Sara. I just got a half sleeve tattoo that extends from my shoulder to my elbow 7 weeks ago; it's of the 2009 Hard Rock Cafe Rockabilly Barbie Doll. The original Barbie Doll holds in her right hand an upright bass. For my tattoo, I replaced the bass with a pool cue and added a banner that reads "Eight Ball Barbie Doll". It's beautiful! I plan to get an epic half sleeve tattoo on my other shoulder this summer of the female Buddha known as Vajrayogini. She is gorgeous, terrifying, metal and liberating all at once! She's often referred to as The Trauma Goddess; I'm getting her to represent the long difficult path I followed to become the lovely woman I always knew myself to be.
After Vajrayogini, maybe for my 50th birthday next February, I'm designing a tattoo for the inside of my left forearm, just below the elbow. This tattoo will be about 2 to 3 inches across and will face my body when my arm hangs naturally. The design will be based on the symbol for "bio-hazard", consisting of 3 interconnected semi-circles imposed over a central circle. In the center of the inner circle will be the symbol for trans pride, a smaller circle with an arrow pointed up to the right, a cross pointed down, and a combination arrow/cross pointed up to the left. The imagery suits my rebellious, edgy nature, and mostly only those in "the know" will recognize the meaning of the symbology.
I hope you'll post pictures of your new tattoo when it's done.

Sounds pretty cool to me..
I just got my tattoo touched up, it is to remember my late GF, Alison.. The touch up hurt, getting it done in the first place didn't.
