So last Saturday I had my initial assessment via a private clinic with a gender psychiatrist, I was reccomended to start hrt and sent off to go see their endocrinologist who's opinion counts toward a overall decision of what to do, that appointment with the endo happens July 7th.
What exactly does a endocrinologist do in their assessments?

Lorimer got me to get bloods done via gp asap before I even saw him.
And what you say doesn't seem in line with what Dr Lorimer told me, spoke about how you used to have to go full time before hrt but now that's changed and that as long as constant action is being made he's fine with going full time after hrt...
May 2013?
Yeah I suspect that may no longer be the case, as the uk protocol regarding how to provide treatment has changed since then
But I guess I'll find out

I would not be surprised if the lack of a
legal name change was the real stumbling block. It is a biggie for them.
I'm not entirely sure how it works in the UK but it sounds like things are getting a little easier. It does seem odd that wearing a dress was almost its own requirement. Lots of women don't like dresses. I still can't find one I really prefer. If you are getting blood work done, make sure yo drink lots of water. I hadn't kept up on it at work and when I went for mine it took forever to get the blood they needed from me. I hope things go smoothly for you ^_^

Already have my blood results ready and so on, done all that :)
Well last weekend Lorimer hinted that it is an option to get hrt first, then to gradually transition as the body changes allow, so im assuming that Dr Seal will mirror that standpoint.
The NHS did remove HRT RLE some time ago, so im partly assuming they have followed that example (they are NHS consultants that do private services in their spare time to help those who are on the years waiting list to get into a nhs clinic)

Things are a lot easier here (UK) than they seem. Remember that for every person complaining there are many just getting quietly on with it. Some people have unreasonable expectations that cannot be met and when they are refused it is never their fault and they blame everyone else.
I am not saying that the example given above falls into this category, but I have come across this sort of thing so often that I have now reached the point that I always believe that the "moaner" has some culpability.
