Title: Webseries
Post by: Rawb on May 26, 2014, 10:47:20 AM
I guess writing is the best place to put this, since I'm trained as a writer, and I do all the writing on the show, though I also do the animation. It's a 2D Animated webseries, and I'm premiering it on September 1st, and it's just a loot of fun. And I get to work with voice actors (who are amaaazing) and I have people that help with background art, and I have a composer who does all the music for it- We're secretly planning musical/gag episode, which is amaaazing because I get to write songs and then my composer put music to them. It's really REALLY cool. It also helps that one of my voice actors is a super sexy British guy that I'm completely infatuated with  xD  And one of the other male voice actors has a huge crush on me.

But yes! It's an ensemble cast, and about half the main characters are gay, bi or pan. But the idea was to have a cast of mostly LGBT characters, but it not be a "gay issues" show. Because I've noticed often that if there is a gay character in mainstream tv, then it's for a storyline like they got beatup cause they're gay, or aids, or something (Although they're getting better with that) and I wanted to create a show that's just like "We're soldiers, and we're saving the world, and post-apocalyptic badassery!" With characters who just haaappen to be LGBT. There is one character who is pan who gets harrassed a lot, but it's for a completely different reason.

And there is one part, where a guy falls in love with another guy, but it turns out that the other guy is straight, but they just sort of deal with it and end up becoming really good friends  :)
