Gotta' be able to wear the hoops.
None :( so want to but am petrified of anything related to needles. Friends refuse to pick me up of the floor when I pass out
Just had mine done 4 weeks ago. My wife only has one on top/cartilage part. There was virtually no pain at all. I had my nipples pierced 5 years ago, that WAS PAINFUL.

Don't really hurt that much. Besides, just close your eyes and you won't even realize it until its over. But warning though, then you gotta get through the other one. But seriously though it gives you so much deversity. If in girl mode, I love large hoops. In guy mode I wear an upside down cross in one and an upside down pentigram in the other. But really imomortal gypsy, it really don't hurt that much. But of course I was little buzzed when I got mine pierced and no biggy.
Come on over here... I'll pierce 'em for you, AND scoop you up off the floor. :)

Had both ears pierced in 1977.
I had my left one peirced for years, not long after I came out, I went and got the right one done..
I've also got a bar in my navel..
I love my earings :)
actually today i bougt a new one , a small gold airplane :D looks really cute
I also have a lip piercing :)
I did them last year
I used to have 2 sets in each ear but over the years jobs kept telling me I couldn't have em like that and the holes just kept closing up. (did it twice and gave up)
But I have at least 1 hole per ear now gauged at a 2. Looking to go past a double 0 eventually.
3 in the left, 1 of them cartilage. One in the right. Right nostril as well. All done 1989-1991. Had long hair as well. Was I trying to tell myself something?
Got mine pierced on my birthday. :) It was great. One of my girl friends held my hand for the first, then both who came along with me held my hands for the second.
I felt loved. <3
And I have a happy memory.
And I have two holes in my head. :D
I want more after reading this.
Two in each ear (done properly this time) about a year apart a few years ago :icon_chick:
Both Single for me, I am not fancy enough for all of those other ones on the ears.
I don't have my ears pierced and I intend on keeping it that way.
Yeah, I have 4 piercings in each ear. I did them all myself with an apple and a safety pin. That was in 1986; I was 21 years old. I was pretty hardcore back then... I've mellowed with age... but only a little. :)

Well it is a phobia... But if your willing to knock me out first
Two in each area, VM held my hand as I was terrified!!!!
I want to get my ears pierced — nothing too fancy, just one in each lobe — but haven't yet. I've even got a pair of golden studs to use. Unfortunately, we're not permitted to have jewelry at work (safety reasons), so I need to find some time when I'm able to get them done where work isn't an issue.
Three in one ear and two in the other. I haven't worn earrings since coming out, so they might have closed by now. I might fix that when I can pass more.

One of my fondest Susan's memories is when we both got our ears pierced Sis :icon_chick: Quite the adventure for the both of us at the time
Hugs
I had holes in both ears done a long time ago. I think they're closed up now. They're barely visible any more. Or not visible at all because of my mop-head, I guess.
I just pierced both ears this past Saturday to feminize my appearance a bit more. I love it.
I have three in each ear, and planning on more. I like studs and danglings and the small not even sure what they half them (look like 3/4 hoops).
I pierced each of my ears thrice. Pain was not an issue.

You are sooooooooooooooo awesome Lady Sarah!
Like alot of my girlfriends who grew up in the 1950/60's I was raised to believe only prostitutes and tramps got their ears pieced. Mom wore clip-ons until it was it nearly impossible to find them in the 1980's. Add in my fear of getting a torn earlobe, I don't see me ever getting my ears pierced.

I've seen them! You are beautiful with them on! Well, honestly you are beautiful without them on also.
My Grandmother pierced ears from home with a darning needle, corks & ice cubes. I grew up in a fishing port, ear rings were often seen. Usually women had both ears pierced, straight men the left, gay men right & bi men both. I remember seeing a giant Irishman with red hair down to his ass faint at my Grandmother's house as he watched her pierce ears. He was scared of no one, would fight anyone anytime & could start his Norton Commando by hand!

Aye, and his name be Liam McSqueemish!!!! - Just kidding.
I wouldn't dare call him that! Got my ears pierced at the jewellers, didn't much like the look of those darning needles! My Gran would have a massive fine & probably a prison sentence if she was piercing ears from home today but it was a regular thing well into the 70s

I'm absolutely phobic about needles, but this is something I could do.

Didn't it used to be a thing for girls at a pajama party to pierce each other's ears? Not sure what kind of needle was used, but there was ice and a potato involved

Only saw that on TV or in a Movie, lol.
A friend and I pierced each other's ears years ago when we were young, dumb and thought we would be rock stars
I think all that was involved was a bottle of Canadian Club and a safety pin LOL
Those piercings closed up eventually and so my current piercings were done at a salon ;D
I had my ears pierced over 25 years ago, by the woman who was helping me with my cross dressing. I have been wearing studs daily ever since, but wore other earrings when cross dressed.
they WERE pierced but i havnt worn earrings in years hopping theyll heal over or something. the piercings have almost closed up but unfortunately not completely, i wonder it they ever will.
Getting my ears pierced was just about the first thing I did after I came out to my wife. (The very first thing was buying underwear.) Even if I am not dressed up, I always wear silver studs in them. I totally love how it makes looking in the mirror more bearable. With the changes in my face from HRT, longer, wavy hair, and the silver studs, I see femme whenever I get a glimpse in a mirror.
Of course, I love wearing something dangly and sparkly when the occasion suits.
I had mine done initially at a hair salon. They used one of those punch guns, which was fast and not too painful, but the holes closed up after a couple of months, when I didn't have studs for a few days. I had them re-done by a scary-looking dude in a piercing studio. He was a stickler for cleanliness, and did a good job.

Totally understand your thinking on the studs in the ears. I'm a verifiable rookie on HRT so looking at my mug isn't the first or most obvious for me. However, I do love it when they tangle and hit against me.
I have 2 piercings in each ear, friend of mine and her husband have a tattoo and piercing shop.Their shop is clean and they keep it this way.Plus the needles don't get reused and do get disposed of properly. They do mine for this reason
I got both ears pierced almost 30 years ago. For me it was something feminine I could do during a time when admitting to my family that I am Trans was impossible to my mindset. My wife still freaked out so whenever she was around I only wore one stud for many years.
I'm having a difficult time finding a way to get HRT but once I do, I'm going to gift myself with second piercing in each ear.
I had mine done almost a year ago. Crossdressing journals from days gone by gave advice about how for the healing studs you can use clear plastic, I kept pestering the people in the piercing parlor for studs that were smaller/clearer, I had a whole massive hangup about it all, I didn't want anybody to have any inkling they were pierced. For some reason. Even after it was done I tried painting over them with foundation for a while. No one can know! Last year I got something out of my system, that's for sure. Had my brows waxed yesterday and couldn't care less if a friend asks what's up.
Those piercing parlor people thought I was nuts, just about everybody these days gets their ears pierced. Funny thing is I'm a hermetic bohemian type in the first place, why would I care about this?
QuoteI kept pestering the people in the piercing parlor for studs that were smaller/clearer
The woman who pierced my ears told me how to make some from the nylon ties that hold tags on clothing. Take one end, that has the T shaped piece, and cut it off. Then melt the other end enough to form a ball. The ball is small enough to fit through the hole, but big enough to hold the "studs" in place.
Thats exactly the technique I read about. In the end it's a complete non issue, even the security company I work for allows small stud earrings for men.
Single ear with single piercing for me. I only have my right earlobe pierced (and my lower lip but that wasn't the topic). My story behind that is actually related to me being ftm trans, although weirdly so. Cause, being 14 at the time, I kinda had a hunch I might be trans but it was still far back in my head. However, at that age I had learned that some people thought that having just one ear pierced was a gay guy thing. And although my gender knowledge was quite limited back then, I did get to the conclusion that "if I was a guy, I'd obviously be gay" cause I liked guys. But at the same time I thought it would be a cool thing to do cause it was rare for a girl (or afab) and I was always a bit of a rebel without a cause.
Also, I got it at the same time as my best friend who also only had her right ear pierced, but for other reasons. We're still best friends as of today. Another trivia thing about it is that I'm almost deaf on my left ear, so me only having my hearing ear pierced is a good way for me to signal to others which side of me they should be at for me to be able to hear what they're saying.
I kept it and didn't get more ear piercings, but started stretching it last year. Now it's at 4 mm (or 6 gauge) and I plan to get it up to 12 or 14 mm (around 0,55 inch). I might want to get more piercings in the same ear later on, but keep my left ear unpierced. Cause I love asymmetry, and want to keep all of my body modifications on the rights side of my body or centered.
