Shedevil

I know how you feel but as soon as you get into your gown it moves pretty quickly. Waiting is hard, your mind just races away.   I found that deep and regular breathing helped.  Then you are in the theatre and the rest is easy.   Very relaxing.  Then it's all done and the next chapter begins.

It will go brilliantly and my thoughts are with you

Safe travels

Aisla

thank you everybody for the warm wishes

well I am 2 days postop recuperating at Serenity in Santa Monica. my surgery to repair all the past surgeries I had in Peru went well but was very long because as per Dr Lee, it wasnt pretty what they did overthere, the surgery Dr Lee performed 2 days ago took 8 hours he was amazing, I can see the results will be amazing, I am swollen like crazy but I am much better than yesterday.

I have post op pictures not pretty but I dont mind, can somebody let me know how to post picture?

thanks

How is Serenity?  I'm supposed to stay there after my surgery later this month with Dr Mayer.  I'm just curious.  Glad to hear everything went well for you and hope you recover quick!

Usually you just upload images to flickr or something and then just link to them with the image bbcode tag.

WOW! loving ittttttt!!

Plus why is there so many stitches around your nostrils? I didn't have these... is it because they reduced your tip, or is it because they made your nose wider or.. hmm... I don't know. I'm super curious so ask the doctor please :)

Oh you poor baby, looks like you're going to survive though and I'm betting that you will be gorgeous. Keep your head elevated, take in lots of liquids. When you're ready and if you feel so inclined, it would be interesting to understand what happened in Peru that brought about the need for this drastic amount of corrective sugary. ((Hugs)) ~Shan~

That looks about right.  I can tell you that you are going to look great although it may be a few weeks.  (I'm at four weeks and am still swollen.)  But every day, you'll look just a little bit better.

Jen

thanks for the kind words

I think the dry blood makes you think there is more stitches around the nose, but yes they did an open revision (to correct all the mistakes done in peru too numerous too explain), and reduced the width plus they did a subnasal lip lift, so I'm guessing for these procedures it does take alot of stitches around the nose.

the other procedures I had done with this is
lower bleph
correction of upper bleph that was done in Peru
VY advancement to lower lip
removal and replacement of cheek implants (cheek implants were not cheek implants they were silicone padding cut out with scissors)
chin and jaw reduction
repair scar of outside chin from last surgery in Peru
reduction of adams apple
temporal lift
face and neck lift

My plastic surgeon is top drawer and comes highly recommended locally and has never had a medical complaint against him so far. He says that sadly he has had to correct an awful lot of shoddy workmanship done by others on people who shopped surgeons by price structure rather than their success/failure record. Glad you got it fixed sweetie!

OMG... Did you go to Femilife? I assume yes but thought I'd confirm. Wow... you had silicone padding cut out with scissors implanted??? DANG... that is craziness!

yes thats where I went, Dr Lee who performed the surgery here in Bev hills, confirmed it was silicone padding cut out with scissors , and the nose and chin they did over there at Femilife, was awful aestically and functionnability. I remember I had a few other consults with other surgeons like Dr Z , dr mayer, and they all were appaules at what they saw for the nose, cheeks  and chin. even the hairline lowering they said that it was done wrong which I thought was the 2 things with remodelling of forehead type 3 that were done right. At least the forehead type 3 was looks great as per Dr Lee

hey Carly , I'm as outraged as you girls, I dont like to bash on previous work, but the silicone padding cut out with scissors was the last straw. The one thing that shocks me is in Dr Pimentel's report he said that the cheek implants were silastic cheek implants and they were screwed in, first they weren't screwed in no screws were to be found and surely they were not Silastic cheek implants
I don't know if they have boards that overlook situation like that in Peru.

I will surely look into it

What kind of implants did you get this time from Dr. Lee? I am doing my own research and still can't decide what to chose, silicone or Medpor?
I don't know if this can make you feel better, but silastic and solid silicone are just two ways to call the same material and reshaping implants with scissors or scalpels is common practice in order to make the implants match each individual proportions.

I hope that when you are healed up more that you would consider writing a post about your experience with Femilife and all of the problems that were subsequently found. It is a crime that these overseas surgeons lure patients from the US and Canada and other places by cheap prices with the promise of quality work and fail miserably, putting patients at risk. I especially think about the younger girls in our community who can't afford the big name surgeons...   They operated on you like an animal, not a human being. Shoot... animals might just receive better care at most veterinarian hospitals in the US. Do you have any legal recourse against them for what they've done? I hope you look into it.

Hi there!
Your first photos brought me back memories from 2011, upper and lower bleph really makes a mess! However you are already looking much, much better on today's photo and you have really beautiful eyes.
I have no idea where you started from but you should come out of this looking very, very good with a most feminine overall shape to your face.
Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery!

hi Dr Lee is one of the most consciencious doctor I have met, if you want him to be aggressive, he will listen to you and be as aggressive as you want him to be. He also stands behind his work, you dont often see that in the community of plastic surgeon. He is dedicated to achieve what you desire.

I would recommend him for any facial surgery especially related to FFS. Call Susan his office administrator, and please tell her Sheila recommended you.
