I just received an awesome gift from a friend. What do you think of my signature banner? I'm happy as can be about it.

Nice! I like it, though I must admit, I saw the hysto ticker and thought that was the gift a friend gave you....over 4 years ago!    :D :D

Actually, that was a gift, 4 years ago. I debated taking it out.

And purple is the color of royalty, and my fave.

Ahh... Purple!  My late wife and myself privately dubbed the social worker at the hospital "the little purple tornado" - she wore purple in some form or other all the time, and she seemed rather excitable.  After my wife passed the insurance company denied coverage for the hospice care that this lady had arranged.  I took her a copy of the letter.  She fully lived up to the tornado part - the insurance company paid in full...
