Hi Friends , Brothers and Sisters,
I'm Gowtham from Chennai-India. Im pre-op but on T for 8 months now. Im planning for my Top surgery in few months. Im out to my mom before one and half years. But she dint accept me. I love her a lot, but I do not wish to waste my time and years by waiting for her approval fro my transition. I dont wanna be like who Im not really. Im in relationship for 3 and half years. BEcause of the Transition tenions , carrier and other things Im not being 100% involved in love as of now. I badly wanna undergo Top surgery. I choosed Bangkok as a decision because Thailand/Bangkok has a huge trans population and the surgeons over there deal with lots of plastic surgery as well as trans(SRS) surgeries. Hence, I felt the surgeons in Bangkok would have better exposure than surgeons in India. Im talking to Dr.Pichet and consulting Yanhee hospital Online. I have seen few posts from few transbrothers who did surgery from Dr.Pichet. Please please please share your suggestions about Dr.Pihet and Dr.Sukit from Yanhee hospital. Im planning to take top surgery within three months. Your suggestions and sharing your experience would be much much helpful to me at this point. As my family is not supporting me Im standing alone in life without much moral support. Please share your view or details if you know a good surgeons apart from Dr.Pichet or Yanhee in Bangkok. I need your replies and inputs of ideas/ suggestions to proceed further with surgeons in Bangkok. Please respond.
Regards,
Gowtham-India
HI Gowthan, Welcome to Susan's.
I don't know much about Bangkok doctors so can't help with that. The US, where I live has good doctors closer. I understand wanting a doctor with a good rep and good results. Good luck.

நல்வரவு Gowtham!
I haven't had top surgery and haven't heard of those doctors. You might have better luck asking about them in the FTM Board (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php?board=323.0), because not all people read posts in the introduction section.
Good luck
Hi Gowtham,
I'm rowing the boat the other way but as far as indian doctors go I'm by far an authority, I've spoken to or visited most of them, doctors in india will need clear letters of referral from 2 psychiatrists stating that u have been on more than 6 months of care and the specific procedure u are asking for is advised (both need to write it independently with reference to the other)
Ther are some places like the ashirwad clinic in defraud which is a little mor lax but quality is a question?
The best I have found is fortis hospital delhi (the north delhi fortis) which has a fairly open minded doctor team and skilled surgeons with good facilities. Message me if u want details
Hello Gowtham and welcome to Susan's. Continued success in your journey. Keep coming to the site.
