Title: Binder Modifications
Post by: phouka on June 03, 2014, 02:04:08 PM
I just got a secondhand 997 a few days ago-and while it still does a fairly good job,it could do with a little taking in especially where the straps are stretched out.

Since I was already doing that I'm contemplating another project:The bottom is still very snug,so much so that in contest with my hips there are no winners and it gets a tad painful and rolls up on top of my butt-so why not slice the whole thing to a bit longer than tri-top length and end up with another whole binder?

Is this a crazy idea?Just fielding before I go for it.

I had the same issue with the bottom of mine so I cut it and never regretted it. Just make sure you don't cut it too short like I did XD

I think you should cut it just below your rib cage, like a tri-top.
I am not a fan of long binders, they are uncomfortable.

I did the same. You can always cut more off, but you can't put it back.
