Hi,
None of you know me, but I started a posted about either choosing Dr. Spiegel in Boston or Dr. Z. in Illinois. I live in Vancouver, Canada and do not know the states at all. I have chosen to go with Dr. Spiegel as I do not need much chin work and he seems to be the choice for less and refinement.
Has anyone gone to Dr. Spiegel? Where is a good place to stay? Any advice about going to Boston (I've never been and live on the West coast)? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank-you
Rhi.
I live an hour away from Boston, so I go there on occasion, i never stayed in a hotel overnight though, its a nice city and its actually pretty lbgt friendly, I wouldn't rent a car, its like 30 dollars a day to park your car in Boston, unless the hotel has parking included, the T can take you anywhere in the city for like 2 bucks each way, I suggest walking around and checking the restaurants out while your there and the park
Lived in Boston for a long time. Looks like you'll be in the South End, which is close to downtown, so any of the downtown hotels would work. Without a budget I can't really make recommendations. But I'd consider looking up bed and breakfasts close by.
The Museum of Fine Arts is worth visiting. There's a trans-friendly bar called Jacques if that interests you. Boston Public Garden is great, and if you want to wander into Cambridge there are a lot of things to see at Harvard, including the Charles River, Harvard Art Museums, glass flowers, etc. Basically if you give me more info I can direct you better.
Thank-you both for your response.
I am basically flying in on a Tuesday, and meeting Dr. Spiegel to go over what he is doing (chin reduction, fat grafts to checks). The next morning I am booked for the surgery, and then will be staying 3 days after to make sure there are no complications, then flying home. Whole trip is 5 days. I am not looking for too expensive of a place to stay at, preferably lgbt friendly and as close to Dr. Spiegel's office as possible.
Thanks again for the responses
Rhi
