Right I am not going to run around the houses I am going to jump right in with it!
Well today is a lovely raining day her is sunny England :-\ and about 10 mins ago my sister and my mother come in from going what I think was clothes shopping. :-X
I mentioned to my mother yesterday that there is a pair of shoes that I like in Tescos (I know the rhymes and don't perticually care.. I'm broke!) for £18 and she said that I should put them on my credit card. (By the way these shoes are mens and where/are going to be used for an office job that I hopefully am going to get offered in September. I don't own any shoes what so ever other than trainers and there white so yeah.... anyhow)
My mother after talking to me for about 5 mins says to me "oh yeah are them shoes in Tesco's mens?" and I said "yeah" and my mother and sister where like "thats skanky" and there other comments and mum insisted shouting "there skanky you cant wear mens shoes to work in an office" I just acted like a typical teenager and shouted "yeah yeah yeah" and shut my bedroom door on them. (so sick of this) Then my mother comes into my room after giving me an application form for another job and says AGAIN "you cant wear mens shoes". "People will be like errr shes wearing mens shoes" I said "Alright" in a sarcastic not really paying attention to what she is saying, she replied "they will think your some kind of trany". I however didn't reply and I wanted deep down to shout I am!!! however I cant tell my parents whilst I am still living here because they are so hard to talk to they think everything is a phase and treat me like I am 10 still and it annoys the heck out of me!
Just wanted to share this all with you........ GRRRRRRRR!!!!! :embarrassed:
It is going to take time. That doesn't mean it isn't hard and frustrating right now.
Sorry
Sarah L.
She actually said people will think you're some kind of ->-bleeped-<-? Ouch. :(
God, I don't see what the big deal is. Men's shoes, women's shoes. People can't tell the difference.
Sheesh! ::)

We use skanky here all the time. Just that it means something else.
Skank - dirty, trashy, promiscuous woman
Skanky - something a skank would do, say, wear, etc

my mom told me to wait untill i was older to decide about things like if i want to be a man, i just want to tell her that i know i am, but at least she siad this "If you are like thirty years old and you decide you want to be a man, go ahead." at least she wont mind...
Is there a difference in men and women's formal shoes then?
