Hi
I want to ask if someone have any experience with similar result
Position and so can be fixed ... if I find surgeon who will do it and not make it even worse, but what about sensation ?
Second day after op something what shall be new clit looked like a gray patch on that violet ball goes to dark bloody color and was finally covered by scab. I think its fine, better than be oversensitive at that days.
But few weeks after when I was home and healing, scab slowly goes down and reveal that disaster :-\
It is raised (so not covered by anything) and worse thing is that is fully covered by that white scary tissue :'(
If there will be any sensation I can live with it but the isnt, I cant feel any touch on it :'(
One good think I can say about result, I dont know about it, I was fine and I didnt have any pain soon.
Ill give it some time and will consult corrections with doctor, but is here anyone who have similar condition?
My surgery was 25th March.
The worst think is that Im so horny and I feel like in some torturing chastity belt :eusa_wall:
Wow, I am a ways off from bottom surgery yet, but what a drag. Nerves do heal and feeling often returns with time but please keep us posted on how it goes. Was your gender confirmation surgery done in the US?
Hugs
Julie
OK, an "old lady" of 16 months post op here, so listen up hun!!! You sound like you are right on schedule and will probably be fine. Your surgery date says that today you are 74 days out (10.5 weeks). You are going to be healing and swollen for some time to come, even though the sutures and some of the other surface stuff is back to normal color for the most part, but you still have months to go on the timeline. At 6 months I was just beginning to have nerve sensations that made sense to me, until then if you touched me one place, my brain said it was somewhere else. I was still spraying all over my vulva every time I had to pee, and while I could feel pressure on my clit, I had to push it like a door bell button to feel it. Starting at about 11 months out of "the room" some new sensations set in, and it was pleasantly embarrassing to sit on a nice comfortable sofa. The silly look on my face must have been a dead giveaway to everyone in the room, but it was what I had been hoping for. 5 months even later, it is not quite the sharp feeling it was, but more of the area around the clit is involved. The immoral of this is that it does take time, proper care according to our surgeon's instructions, time, patience, and a grin on your face, and yes time!!
I hope this makes you feel better -- check out my signature line there, that is real.
Have you talked to your surgeon about your concerns I had a slight white grey over my clit but it went quickly leaving a pink healthy clit.
From what ive gathered some clits scab over some dont depends on the surgeon and there techniques.
Xxx
First off always contact your surgeon. It could as said be how they do the surgery and something normal to there healing.
Also as Vicky said it takes a very, very long time for things to get to a final healing color.
Relax, talk to your doctor and Heep up with your aftercare instructions.
Hugs,
Izzy
I should go to check next month or so
About healing, there is no change during last month, it looks that it set down
I know it is short time, but I just want to know what should I expect
It is a complication I have been warned of, but I was also told not to expect full sensation for 8 months. But see your Dr is the important thing
All those symptoms are on the list I was sent home from surgery with a month ago as being very normal. This list also said it can take "up to 18 months" to get clit sensation, so we must be patient :).
