Title: Don't know how to say this - life begins

I was booked in for surgery today. OK many days to go.

I'm very frightened, I'm very happy.

Good luck sis!I'd be more worried if you weren't frightened,while a complex operation there's around 60 years of knowledge so you'll be in good hands.

Wishing you all the very best Cindy and forgive me but I can't help saying that for someone who who is generally so forthright, you were remarkably coy in the lead up to this!  :)
That being said I fully understand your feelings right now but as others have mentioned, you are going down a well trodden path so no reason to worry unduly.
I suppose you will evenrtually tell us a little more?
