Crowdfunding, not shipping until Oct. '14... one wonders if they've actually built one. :cynical:
But it's an incredibly cool idea. I'd get one in a heartbeat if it actually existed.
Well, I hope it's the real deal; I'm really excited about this. I hope they're successful with the crowdfunding and this becomes more of a thing in the future. Imagine if they used this idea and started making them look more life like.
I'm a little concerned that they say "suck on it" and it vibrates when touched. Chipped teeth much? lol. It is a cool idea though if it comes together.

I believe the dildo is detachable from the vibrator. I'm not sure how it works if you keep them together though and receive oral.
Maybe a harness separates them enough for the dildo not to vibrate? I'm just speculating at this point. Looked at it again; I'm not sure how that would work to be honest. Still want one, lol.

Have a look at the first video. Seems they've built a working prototype.
It's a nice idea, certainly, but I'm really put off by the design of the thing. Granted it's an early prototype but it's fluorescent pink and a bit of an odd shape. Seems at the moment that it might be going down the route of a "novelty toy" — I hope they produce a wider variety of designs and aim for one that's a little more lifelike.

I think that may be their plans if this is successful. If you look down in the faq and find the question 'What future Ambrosia technology innovations can I expect?' they talk about doing stuff with pack-n-play. Also one of their stretch goals is giving everyone who "pre-orders" one of the regular dildos anatomical ones as well. But the stretch goal for that is 200k; maybe I'm just a pessimist, but I don't see it happening.

Must have missed that, thanks! Hopefully this refers to the look of the thing as opposed to just having the ABILITY to pack — strictly speaking, that could mean that it would be flexible/soft enough to cram into your undies without pitching a tent...
(Don't mind me. I'm English; I'm allowed to be cynical :P)

Pessimist? Nah, just skeptical. Given the sheer volume of other crowd-funded projects that never made it off the ground it's fine to be cautious. I'll be interested to see how it goes either way.
You could probably modify an OhMiBod to do the same thing. It's interesting, but not my thing.
Hope this kind of technology rolls over into realistic functioning models in decent length and widths.
Nice! I was actually pondering this concept myself recently. Seems simple enough to have a touch/pressure sensor around the length run its output to control the vibrating motor.
