I've seen 100+ shows all the way through, I only watch hour long episode shows and I'm currently watching 20-30 shows that are still going. I can't really give a whole bunch of favourite shows because I've seen far to many so the best way is to just say my top 3.
1. True Blood
2. Dexter
3. Da Vinci's Demons
Will and Grace
Friends
In reality Karen Walker and Phoebe Buffay
I don't watch much TV.
Teen Wolf
Reina de Corazones
Suits
Breaking Bad
These lists remind me of something I've often thought about. Interests in TV programs are one of the most vivid expressions of the differences in tastes between people. Pretty much no matter who you ask, if two people do a list of shows they like, both will see shows on the other's list that they greatly dislike. I suppose if you luck across someone with a similar list you should marry them. ;D
That said, here's mine...
The shows over the last few months I absolutely couldn't miss were Fargo, American Horror Story, 24, and Sherlock. I really like several British shows that turn up on our US stations a few years late like MI-5 (Spooks), Hustle, Foyle's War and, of course, Dr. Who.
~ Lyric ~
I'm a fan of a lot of the classics despite them being done before I was even born.
Some like:
The Twilight Zone
MASH
The Alfred Hitchcock Show and many others.
Otherwise, I like stuff like Spongebob, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, only saw a few episodes but liked Dr. Who.
I've been getting into anime more and watched Mew Mew Power, Madoka Magica, and currently on Fairy Tale.
I know for a fact there are many more, but I can't think of them right now :/
I really enjoy:

My two favorite shows that I keep coming back to: Friends and How I Met Your Mother. The two best TV shows ever made. And I defy any of you to say otherwise.
Half of my jokes are just lines from those two shows. But most of my friends don't know them, so they think I'm the one who's funny. And I don't correct them. :)

Jay:
How did you like the episode in Buck Rogers where the Ambassador could take his head off and put in on a rock or where he again took it off and held it high to the primitive life forms who were threatening Buck Rogers and Wilma by saying Behold the living GOD(not sure about the exact words).
or the one that it was a death penalty to display ones self in public, because everyone was a mirror image of everyone else. Everyone else would think that they wore a mask so that they would hide that they were ugly.

I had a long road trip yesterday, and I don't really like listening to music on car trips. So I loaded up a whole season of Friends on my phone and just listened to that. I had my phone down by the gear shift and would glance down every now and then, but I've seen all of these episodes so many times that I don't need to watch it to know what's going on.
I made it most of the way through season 7...and it really made the time pass quickly. :)

I love some of the older shows like Lassie when life was simpler & I also love the Roy Rogers show, Dale was such a cool good looking woman. Sometime try the older nicer more pleasant shows to lower your blood pressure, etc.......

Roy was the man... and Dale was the woman.

Lyric, thank you. I'm glad I'm not alone. New shows are OK I guess but nothing will replace some of those older shows. Dale was a beautiful woman & in some shows she is dressed nice. Roy was a hunk of a man also. I would have loved to have been Dale. Please have a great day good friend.

I don't think anyone familiar with the show Daria will be surprised that it was one of my favorite shows growing up. For those not, it's in my name. Daria and Quinn Morgandorfer. Also, Quin being the last names of Tegan and Sara, and you can go from there.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Doctor Who
Game of Thrones (If I start referring to myself as the Stormborn or the Dragon's Daughter, you'll know why)
True Blood
The L Word
I used to watch the X-Men cartoon they made in the 90s. Not a fan that they never had Kitty Pryde involved, but they'd put her in X-Men; Evolutiuon... meh. Hated Evolution. Love the movies, though. And yes, totally into Ellen Page. :) I think her coming out is at least some of the reason why I'm even here.
I'm also a watcher of crazy comedy. Stuff like South Park, The Boondocks, Married with Children and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Obviously Family Guy and the Simpsons, and Seinfeld.
I'm also a wrestling fan. I actually used to write for a wrestling website, reviewing TNA Impact for a couple of years. It's something I actually have a love/hate relationship with, and I don't totally expect people to understand that. But I do appreciate that the major leagues have been giving more ring time to women over the past decade or so, mostly because of a revolution on the independent circuit where serious women's wrestling started to be taken more seriously in the mid-2000s. Even if it's not always perfect.
Looking forward to Daredevil on Netflix. Got to be better than the movie...
