I don't know too many people even though I have lived here for almost 3 years so far, and it'd be awesome to make some new friends, especially people with more experience than me with transitioning. Anyone?
Hey bearguy! I live in Prescott, Az. I have a sister that lives in Glendale and I go to Phx quite often. I started my transition in Sept 2012 so if you ave any questions let me know.

I started my transition 2 months later, November 12 2012 lol. (my first T shot) How far are you in the transition so far?
I met a whole bunch of guys from Phoenix last year after Philly Trans Health since I flew thru Phoenix (only Southwest!). Some guys recognized me from a session. There is a very nice large trans community, you should look into this. I thought the guys were super nice. Most of the guys were in their 20s-30s.

I am post top surgery since october 2012. I have bottom surgery consult with Dr. Crane on July 7th for a phalloplasty and most likely will have the surgery sometime early next year. Facial hair is growing in slow, but I do have quite a lot on my chin and side burns which are very long. It looks pretty scraggly but since I never had hair before I don't want to shave it. It takes about 3 weeks to grow back. I am not a hairy guy. I started my transition late in my life. I turn 50 next month, but I have not had any problems with my transition at all. All my paperwork and birth certificates indicate I am male, and that was all done in 2012 when I started my transition. All my friends and family have been very supportive. I am a retired police officer and I still work around a lot of officers that knew me before transition and though its a bit akward at times, I have not had any problems with them.
I'm in Cordes Lakes. I'm a 60 yr old post op FTM. I transitioned in the '70's with mastectomy and hysto in 1980. You can always email me, also, check out Hope House in Phoenix. Lots of support, and you'll meet lots of people. I'd love to meet and get together with you guys that live up near Prescott.
