Hi girls,
At home with Ian, well today I met Ian's parents Brian and Sharon, so.. Ian came yesterday and said that his parents wanted to meet me!! I freaked out for a moment, So said OK, got dressed with a nice pink summer dress and flat sandals, kept makeup subtle and hair as it is!
So we arrived, Sharon is lovely, and Brian is quite good looking, Sharon gave me a hug and said, I now understand, you are beautiful! We sat down to have Sunday lunch, I do not eat a lot and am vegetarian, but the food was nice. After dinner Sharon said " Jayne do you smoke"? I said yes, and she said come with me.
We sat outside, and she said " you do know he is besotted with you" I said sort of, she said, when did you know? I said about Ian? She said no- when did your realise that you are a girl? Disphoria stared, then she said, you are very beautiful and Ian never stops taking about you. I said you know!! she said of course I know Ian tells me everything. Just do not hurt my son!! Then Ian came out, and presented me with an engagement ring!! He got down on one knee and said Jayne marry me? I just sat and cried, and said yes baby, I will I love you too! The whole family was crying and we all had Champagne. Ian is my Fiancé ;D!!! OMG
Ian's brother Lee came round with his wife Janine and little daughter, Megan, she is gorgeous 18 months old. He said "Well did you do you ask her"? I Ian said sad yes I showed them my ring, on my finger, Lee just laughed and hugged me! Janine and I Started to dance, I was crying and so was she! OMG !!!!!!!! I am in love with the most wonderful and gorgeous guy ever, and he wants me!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Need to go to bed now, Ian and I well you know girls!!

Awww thanks everyone, came as a big surprise, oooohhh I went all sort of so light headed! he is so sweet and lovely, engagement party next Saturday, to be honest I still cannot really believe it, but the ring is on my finger so.... It must be true. I did fall in love with him, and he with me, all very quickly. But when it is right you just sort of know!! Something inside me told me so. The wedding will not be anytime soon, I still have a long way to go yet, but with Ian at my side it will not be that bad any longer. I am ready for him now, I know that, I can't see myself with anyone else really. I am ready to give my all, any fears that I still had disappeared as soon as he asked me to marry him. I look at this world now in a very different way that I did when I woke Sunday morning, there is nothing left to hold me back or frighten me anymore. We walked into the office together this morning, and Ian said I was oozing confidence, God I love him!!! As soon as I can work how to add piccies to a post or reply I will show you all a pic of my ring.

Um, this avatar has been used multiple times on this site. In fact, one of our staff members regularly used it in 2007. It's just a stock 'goth girl' avatar.

Not to mention, I know this photo has been used several times on this site. It's rude for me to call her out? It's far ruder to pretend she's someone she's not. That's not allowed here. This is not a fantasy site. If someone wants to play out a fantasy, there are other avenues. Susans is for real people.

agree , not fair at all to be a very pretty transitioner and the reality is who knows what you look like. There was no denial when another member questioned it. This is a support site not a site to drive others into depression

Jayne, Congrats hun! I know love can strike quick. My parents had known each other three weeks before engagement and my wife and I were talking wedding stuff just two weeks after we met. My parents are still together after 30-something years.
As far as the avatar goes, it sounds like Jayne is just saying that the picture is pretty much what she looks like, not that it is her. The way her answer was worded does not seem to say that she is passing this photo off as herself, just that it is very much like her. I may be wrong, but that is my view on the matter.

I don't mean harm or ill will , but fair is fair . she said the photo was slightly photo shopped which is quite different than similar
So the way I took her response "yes with a little photoshop!!!", was not that the picture was her, but could be with a little photoshop usage. I think it was a poorly worded response that did not warrant the pitchforks and torches it received. Calm down, people.
What's hilarious is the people swallowing all of this hook line and sinker.

Some people can and do.
While there may be some questions that need answering, at this stage Jayne has done nothing more than post a widely used pic as her avatar and suggested (depending on your interpretation of the way she said it) that it may be her.
But this isn't an opportunity for a lynch mob, please leave the moderating to the moderators.
