Hello readers,
Currently I'm trying to make a decision about where to get my SRS done and after doing research Dr. Chettawut seems like the best option for my me at this time. Among other resources this forum has already been very helpful, but I still have some questions I hope could get answered.
Revisions
Dr. Chettawut's website states that "If any patient is dissatisfied with their individual surgical results, Doctor Chettawut will perform the necessary surgical revisions that are done by local anesthesia at no charge." The description of the SRS states that: "size and shape of the clitoris, clitoral- hood and frenulum structures will be created as in a biological woman." I have understood that the fourchette is generally not done in first step surgery. So I would assume that if I went back for it after healing from the initial SRS the forming of frenulum structures will also be included in the guarantee? Does anyone know if this is done under local anesthesia?
Complications
I've read of minor complications and revisions, but I'm curious to know the nature of these complications. Are these small flaws from the surgery or harsher problems, like for example the inside of the vagina coming out?
Lubrification
This question is very personal. I'm aware that there won't be enough for intercourse, but when getting aroused is there still a significant amount of fluid being produced?
Dilation and travel
At the time I'm planning on leaving Thailand the dilatation schedule shows I need to dilate three times a day, which will be hard when traveling for 17 hours and I don't think the cabin crew and fellow passengers will find dilating on a full flat seat in the plane very appropriate. Does someone have any tips on what to do or should I just skip that round? How many harm would that do?
Ghost stories
While searching for experiences with Dr. Chettawut I stumbled upon some hatred campaign against him by seemingly on or two individuals that make extremely harsh unsupported acquisitions and state they're part of an organization that is untraceable in any way. Does anybody know what's up with that?
Contact
I'll try to contact Dr. Chettawut with any remaining questions, but can't seem to reach him. I've tried to send the Patient Information Form, but there's a problem saying I'm entering the wrong verification captcha, while I'm doing it correctly. I sent an e-mail about the problem and am awaiting an answer. Did anybody else experience this?
Thanks in advance.
I'll find out in a few weeks...
Re lubrication: I wrote recently. The Cowper's gland is reused - it might make you wet but not enough for lubrication and Dr Chettawut team recommends using a gel.
Re Ghost stories
It seems some had over expectations of what FFS might produce and set up a few threads. The language of the posts showed more about them than the procedures. I've not seen bad threads about SRS and that's why Im content with my choice.
I'll answer what I can, and I I you want to pm me feel free.
I'm over 1 year post op and had Dr. Chettawut performs my grs/srs

Does anyone know if this is done under local anesthesia? I'm not totally sure on this bug from what I remember, when asking him about guarantee, he said it's for life that if I ever felt unsatisfied have would do the corrections at no cost to me, I believe the local is used, and also with light sedation, but I'm not 100%positive on it.
Complications
I've read of minor complications and revisions, but I'm curious to know the nature of these complications. Are these small flaws from the surgery or harsher problems, like for example the inside of the vagina coming out?complications are a risk of any surgery, and to be honest so many factors play into this like smoking, bad health, clotting tendencies, underlying sickness and disease, etc, in other words be prepa
prepared for the worst just in case, though it doesn't happen all the time
Lubrification
This question is very personal. I'm aware that there won't be enough for intercourse, but when getting aroused is there still a significant amount of fluid being produced? yes and surprisingly for me there is enough for Intercourse, provided have the right stimuli that is, but again it varies individual to individual

How many harm would that do? you'll dilatation one to two Hours before your flight, ND immediately when get home, that's how that is handled, lol dilating on a plane? Lol what a challenge that be!!! :p

Does anybody know what's up with that? and I know what you speak of and from what I gather at least once was the person had huge post op regret, really something that isn't to blame the surgeon for and also everyone knows the risks going in, and we'll, you can't please everyone all the time, and of course don't forget the religious finatics/cult like groups

Thanks for you PM as well, I can't respond through that right now though. I'll wait for another week or 2, like calico recommended, and if that doesn't work I'll try getting a professional e-mail account. I've got plenty of time to do so.
It's getting very close for you though ;D Good luck on the surgery and I hope you'll have a swift recovery.

Thank you so much for your answering my questions. I'll get back on the first one when I've reached Dr. Chettawut. I just finished reading your "here we go" thread, that I hadn't seen before. It's very helpful!
I have one more question in fact. What made you chose the Dusit princess as your place to stay?
I chose the Dusit because it seemed to be the hotel of choice by Dr Chettawut, at least that was the vibe that I received from the email, I originally was going to choose the cottage option, but after some math on the Dusit' cost +discounts they weren't very far apart in price. So I chose Dusit. And I wasn't disappointed in the least. Very high quality service and food was good there albeit kinda expensive. And there where plenty of girls there as well which was nice considering I went alone. I'm thinking about returning for a vacation there and I may choose the cottage option, I'd purely be going to visit/help some other girls/site see. I really wanted to site see when I was there, but couldn't.
I'm going alone too and I guess it would be nice to meet others, even if it's just to have dinner together. I saw a lot of girls that had surgery with Dr. Chettawut recently stayed at the Dusit princess, so I it must be good. I'm planning on flying to Thailand a week or so before starting the liquid diet, so I can have a good look at Bangkok and some other places. It will help me take my mind of the upcoming surgery.
Just remember the standard tourist visa is 30day only - you can get a proper longer visa for medical operations but you need to decide and book the flights (I checked into this). I opted to go for the 30day - checked the dates with Ms Som and then booked my flights. I wanted to get home to seem friends - and will go back to Bangkok for holiday next year.
Yeah, I checked that out. Thanks anyway, any kind of tips are welcome :) When the time is there and I've booked my tickets I will apply for a 60 day visa at the Thai embassy. I could also prolong my 30 days stay in Bangkok, but I'm not sure of the state I will be in by then. The plan is to have my SRS by early July of next year. I hope to get in contact with Dr. Chettawut in the coming weeks, so I'll have first choice for the month. This will give the time to finish my schoolyear, save up some more for the other expenses and look for a positive currency to pay the remaining 80% :icon_tenisclap:
