Hi all! I'm fairly new around here (been reading mostly) but I wanted to share that I came out to my parents. I told my husband a few years ago. We have 3 children so I was worried about my parents reaction as they've become much more conservative since becoming grandparents. I told my mom while I was driving (I'm so the type that traps people in the car to tell them things), she was 100 percent fine with it and join finding out I hadn't picked a name started making suggestions. (I have a name now). She asked if she could tell my dad and I said yes. Then I dropped her off. A few hours later my dad Facebook messaged me and said he loved and supported me 100 percent! I couldn't believe how well it went. My mom was actually confused about why I thought she would be mad :)
Much love!
Erik
I'm jealous. Congratulations
Wow, I'm happy for you! It's great she was a part of your name-choosing process too :)
Wooptie WOOP!
Love love love hearing about supportive parents :D
Thanks all.
In regards to my husband, he has been great. He was bisexuals to begin with and he's just been rolling with the punches!
