Hi ladies,
I have been looking into purchasing a prosthetic vagina and wanted to hear some feed back from others who have purchased one before. The one I am thinking of getting is the cherry popper.
Love to hear what anyone has to say.
Thanks and love
Bethany
I've had one before and they do take a little while to get comfortable. Mine was the whole panty with the vagina attached. I'm right now thinking of getting another one. Lot cheaper than SRS and if done right you can urinate with them. :)
Can you guys put up links. I've never heard of these and think it might be helpful.
I also know I need to get serious breast forms. The ones I have were cheap and its obvious.
I wasn't about to look these up at work, but I have now. I kind of like the idea of the cherry popper. I don't see it as a replacement for surgery but it could help with the transition. Right now I have a pair of cheerleader brief panties that I like because it does a good job of hiding my junk and letting me forget its even there. It works for hours but eventually it requires adjustments. This appears to have that covered.
Actually, while I haven't purchased any, there are other brands that have more features. Vee String is another, but goolge prosthetic vaginas & female prosthetics and a lot of stuff will come up. I don't think I'm allowed to provide links, so I won't. I've been looking at them for some time myself.....
When I was looking at them last night I wasn't as impressed with the others. It doesn't help that many of them had hair and I don't like body hair of any kind. I've always felt that body hair is for men. I remember the first time I saw porn. It was full bush and I'm like EWW WTF? It was a long time before I saw a shaved one. When I did, it was the best thing I had ever seen.
Hmmmm. Not sure about the hair being an option, but many of the better prosthetics have a place for the man part that allows sensation while being penetrated as well as a tube that allows urination while wearing it, in a seated position like a CIS girl.
Embarrassing as it is to admit I did try one before. I was very unhappy with it and thought it was a big waste of money. The main reasons were that it looked fake and it was painful to wear.

I too have to admit that I have tried one in the past. I had to play with it for a long time before I could get it positioned and then it wasnt really comfortable. It looked ok under a semi-sheer panty but after about an hour I started to suffer from "SCS" - sweaty crotch syndrome. Now, dont get me wrong, I love a good latex catsuit as much as the next girl but play time is one thing and going out with a few girlfriends for a drink is another. In that case, SCS is just plain icky.
Maybe technology has improved but I would just get a few good gaffs and learn how to tuck properly.

I would really like to try one of these but that seem to cost a lot.... Also some of them claim to have an incirtable vagina? How does that work?
Thank you ladies for responses

It"s a hole in it. Save your money.

Totally not my thing. Got my own and keep it clean!
Wow. I had no idea these sorts of things existed. When I transitioned there was nothing available. I remember going into a bra store and humbling myself greatly to purchase a pair of silicon breast forms for cancer survivors. That was so embarrassing. But they were the greatest thing to help my self esteem.
I had purchased a vee string that allowed one to simulate menstration. I agree with others, it more of a play thing versus wearing it full time. I had issues urinating. It actually caused me to bleed as well as not staying in the pocket. Looking at the cherry popper, they use a Texas catheter. I tried them with the vee string which helped a little. I did like the ability to simulate a period. It too is a lot of work, however, that is the one thing I miss. I prefer feeling the underwear and recommend buying clothes than one of these.

Exactly how much did it cost you, Deborah?
After all, I myself literally found out about the existence of prosthetic vaginas earlier today and I am
extremely strongly tempted to (eventually) buy a prosthetic vagina considering that I myself will
never actually get a
real vagina.

If I remember correctly is was around $250. The biggest problem is that it was extremely uncomfortable and also looked really fake. So for me it didn't do what something called a prosthetic is supposed to do.

Personally, I don't see the attraction to something like this. Obviously if it makes an individual feel more feminine then go for it. To me this seems like more of a fetish item more than anything, or a novelty. I could see it helping smooth out your front.

Oh yes, I've tried a couple of these...
Tend to agree with others that they don't look really good and are super uncomfortable. Think the extent to which somebody would like one may be how important it is to feel female vs. look female?
Like...part of the reason these never really worked for me is that I always thought that a cis woman would never wear one, and that made me more dysphoric.
Breast forms, on the other hand, are worn by women and in my experience at least, actually feel super comfortable and can look very realistic.
Could be though that technology has improved! If somebody created a prosthetic vagina that looked better and was more comfortable, I might change my mind. Good luck!
I think I'd pass on these.
I looked into them but then i thought how unreal they look and i guessed the would be not be nice to wear.
I prefare to tuck then i glue some short hairs onto the tape (cut from and old wig) and it looks really efective

I've always been skeptical of these things as well.
However, the people who make Aphrodite breast forms have one that looks plausible. It's called the Selene vagina gaff and it's not a ton of money.
Am curious if anyone else has tried this one.
It's nice to see that this topic is still being discussed. Interestingly enough, pretty much nobody ever talks about the Pro-V — not only here, but elsewhere on other forums as well. Everybody seems to have tried out a variation of the Vee-String — I certainly have tried something similar, back at the beginning of this century... — and found those extremely uncomfortable. I concur.
There are a gazillion different kinds on sale on AliExpress. At least the Chinese manufacturers are very honest about the pictures they take, you can see how 'fake' they look — they come nowhere new to
look like skin, for example. So they are good as novelty items (even though extremely expensive at that!), and, of course, for pure fetishists.
Other manufacturers are very sparse with their descriptions and pictures. For instance,
<link not allowed>this German company[/url] seems to have a wonderful solution, but how can
we know, since there are no reviews and that image is seriously at the quality of 1995?
I'm still curious about the
<Link to Selene Vagina Gaff not allowed>, which looks like an interesting compromise, and at least it got a handful of serious reviews elsewhere. Sure, it still looks fake, but at least it's disguised under the thong...
However, I keep wondering how the Pro-V people are still around, selling their ultra-expensive item, when apparently the company seems to do a poor job at making their FtM customers unhappy (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php?topic=130648.0)... one wonders why the MtF solution ought to be better. Note that there are only two videos on YouTube about this, one is very technical and rather convincing, the other is just a slideshow and shows a low-quality picture of a person wearing it under her underwear and naturally it looks convincing, but how can we know if that's not simply a cisgender woman or a transgender post-op woman?...
The RealGurl panties from the Abyss Creations company (yes, the same that do the RealDolls and the RealBreasts) look very, very realistic, but it means buying the whole panties (made of silicone) which will give you not only the vagina, but the hips and the bottom. At least these guys know what they are doing. Their product is naturally expensive, but it looks good enough. Unfortunately, for me, it's way too much silicone to wear — I perspire a
lot, especially on the warm months, and this would really be going over the top. Also, I wonder if this would work with a corset on top — probably not very well, since the corset would be making dents on the silicone and eventually wear it out. Yes, I know, I could use a diet, a tummy tuck, and a gastric bypass, but a corset is far cheaper :-)
Oh well. I'd certainly love to have something realistic enough — like we can buy these days in the breast form department — but I guess that prosthetic vaginas are still a long way off...

PV's are new to me, interesting topic. This is my first post here, I just joined. I must say I'm very inspired by the RL avatar pics that the posters have in this thread. What courage to be so open and accepting of yourself. I'm getting there! You all look fab ... love it! BTW, Hi, my name is Sinclair and I'm Queer, leaning TG, and on a journey that is making me more happy every step I take down that path. :)
Welcome, Sinclair :)
Although this is certainly off-topic, I believe that the 'courage' is something we sort of build up over time, step by step. There are often setbacks... like the first time you go out dressed as the gender you identify with, and are mortally afraid of being seen by anyone... then you start wondering if you pass or not... then, on later stages, you start wondering what will happen if someone you know sees you... and so forth.
At some stage — at least that's what happened to me! — something inside clicks and you go 'what the hell, I'm not doing anything criminal!' and 'who cares if I pass or I don't pass — people dress weirdly all the time', and once you reach that stage, you stop worrying too much and really start enjoying yourself a LOT ;D
But of course this is something everyone will have to figure out for themselves. I've known people who went through all those stages in a few WEEKS. I took almost two decades! :-D
Locking topic for cleanup and review.
Sincerely,
Joanna

Sorry to interrupt the topic. The topic has been unlocked. I had to remove a few commercial links that show images not allowed on our site.
I want to welcome Sinclair to the site.
It is a very open group of people here. We accept and support each other. Lots of members from all over the world, age range, gender spectrum and point of view. In other words, lots of potential support.
I also want to share some links with you. They are mostly welcome information and the rules that govern the site. If you have not had a chance to look through them, please take a moment:

My apologies, I obviously didn't intend to spam or advertise (and most certainly not to any of those companies!!), it's just that I participate in so many forums and groups (and run a few as well) that I quickly forget which ones are more restrictive than others! And rules keep changing, when you participate on online discussions for 20+ years (yes, seriously) it's very, very easy to fail to keep track of all the rules and all the changes.
In any case I had no intention of violating any rules whatsoever. Remember, the more rules there are, and the quicker they change, the easier it is for people for unintentionally break them :-)
I just wanted to add a little personal experience to this topic. About two years ago I started using the V-String bladder V and really like it. It keeps me tucked and I can go about my day in my womanhood. Recommend using a little k-y jelly when putting it on.
Recently I came across another product that's more of a panty made from silicone. It has a sheeth for peeing and a realistic feeling granular vaginal canal. I'm very interested in it. Do any of you have experience with it?

Thank you for the warm welcome (and rep), and for the site links. I have reviewed them so that I can have a clear sense of dos and don'ts. One thing I was concerned about was mentioning a product by name. Though I have questions and can offer some tips, I hope it shows that the context is that (questions/advice) and not advertising.
Welcome to Susan's Place. We often discuss products on the site and one of the jobs as a moderator is to determine if the person is here to spam site or need to learn the difference between products. One of the biggies is surgeons. Which give the better results or whatever. The primary reason for 15 posts before the features unlock is for us to know why you are here and learn a little about you. With that information we can better judge if you are a spammer or if you have other reasons for being here.
If you really want to see product discussion, go to the FTM gear section of the site. They provide some rather detailed product reviews on a number of items. I think their discussion are far more informative in that area than the ones provided by MTFs.
I have seen a couple here and there and I cannot remember the websites but they look like they would be enjoyable to wear but I am not sure what they would look like with panties over them, the labia lips stick out quite a bit of the ones that I have seen so wearing panties it wouldn't look like you had a camel toe in any sort of way, it would look like something is trying to crawl out of you down below, lol
